Perfume (Wilbur x reader Part 2)

8.

      Ogden Theatre was probably one of the most beautiful venues I've seen yet. Wilbur and I were carrying the equipment from the van onto the stage, "Did you ask them Wil?" I asked as I placed Wil's guitar down, he looked at me and replied, "Yeah, they all seemed okay with you staying for a bit longer." He placed his glasses onto his face and looked out at the audience area, "I still can't believe it." He whispered, "Believe what?" I asked, a small smile played on his lips, "Joe and I started this band thinking it wouldn't really be anything," he replied, "now here we are." I walked over to Wilbur and hugged him.

     He seemed a little surprised by the hug, but he hugged me back, "I'm proud of you guys, Wil." I whispered, he smiled down at me and played with a strand of my hair as he replied, "Thank you, love. I'm proud of you too." He then looked back at the audience area again, it was quite large, the whole place looked like a five star restaurant that just happened to have bands play there.

     "Are you guys gonna live stream the rehearsal?" I asked, "Perhaps," he replied, "I just wanna make sure we have the set list right first." I walked back out to the van and saw Mark handing Ash his bass, "Hey guys," I greeted, "have either of you seen Joe?"  They both looked at me and shook their heads, "No we haven't," Mark replied, "but I think he's helping bring stuff in." I quickly thanked them and brought Ash's bass in for him. Wilbur watched me come back in and asked, "What do you wanna do after the show?" "Sleep." I replied with a laugh, Wil smiled and walked over to me, "You know," he began, "it's been awhile since we've have some alone time." 

     I glanced over at him once I had placed Ash's bass down and asked, "What are you implying?" Wilbur's smile only grew as he replied, "You, me, movie night." I laughed a little and replied, "You'll be too tired after the show Wil." He rolled his eyes in a playful way and asked, "Are you up for it or no?" I looked at him again, he was still smiling wide like a kid whose mom said that they could get some candy. "Only if your not half asleep by the time we get back to the hotel." I replied, Wilbur chuckled and kissed my cheek, "Why don't you go have some alone time?" He asked, "Because I wanna help you guys." I replied, "It's got to have been stressful moving around this much, love." he replied, "go relax at a cafe or something, have fun." 

     It was cute how much he cared, "But I wanna help you guys." I stated, Wilbur chuckled and gently grabbed my hand, "We'll be fine," he replied, "go relax." I reluctantly walked out of the venue and just wandered around town for a bit.

Wilbur's POV:

     I had asked everybody other than Joe on if they cared if Y/n stayed or not. I honestly didn't want her to have to fly back so soon, it was nice having her around and to be able to actually experience these venues with her. I was hoping that by asking her to go relax that it would give me more time to see if she had to fly back or not.

     Joe wandered onto the stage and placed his guitar on his shoulder, "Joe," I called out, "got a second?" He looked at me and asked, "What's up?" I placed my own guitar onto my shoulder and walked over to him, "I've asked everybody but you on this," I began, "do you want Y/n to fly back?" Joe looked at me again, he thought for a long while. "I really don't mind if she stays or not Wil." He replied eventually, "If this is because you don't want to hurt my feelings, fine," I replied, "but Y/n thinks that she's annoying you." Joe looked off to the side, "I don't know Wil." He replied, I let out a sigh and stated, "Just tell me by the end of the show."

     I didn't want to come off as rude or angry at Joe, I just didn't want Y/n to keep thinking that she was annoying anyone. Mark and Ash eventually made their way onto the stage and got their instruments ready while I grabbed a bottle of water from a table backstage and glanced at my phone. I had gotten a message from Tommy basically saying good luck and how he was excited for us, I smiled a bit at the text and put my phone away, "Are we live streaming rehearsal today?" I asked, "Sure, why not?" Joe replied, Ash pulled out his phone and set it up for the live stream. We waited a few moments for people to join in before we actually started rehearsing some songs, it all went smoothly.
