Perfume (Wilbur x reader Part 2)

12.

     (That's the finished product of my Lovejoy plushies! They're surprisingly soft and squishy, hopefully I'll be able to give these to Lovejoy some day :D Now I'm working on crocheting them in their outfits from the Royal Oak show because Clem Everett posted the whole show on their channel!)

     I stared at the pile of clothes stacked on top of the hotel bed, I had yet to pack my suitcase for the flight to Toronto tomorrow. Everybody else had theirs pack but for some reason I just couldn't focus on anything lately, Wilbur stepped out of the bathroom and watched me quietly from the doorway for a moment. "You alright, dear?" He finally asked, I quickly came back to reality and looked over at him, he had a worried look on his face, "I'm alright Wil," I replied, "just tired." 

     He smiled a bit and walked over to me, "Maybe we should go out to lunch." He suggested as he knelt down beside me, "Just the two of us?" I asked, he nodded and placed a hand on my shoulder, "Come on," he pleaded, "it's been forever since we went on a little date together anyways." I laughed a little at his sudden urge to go on a lunch date, but he was right about it being a while.

     I let out a sigh and replied, "Alright." A wide smile appeared on Wilbur's face and he quickly kissed my lips, "Let's get you all pack up then." He said enthusiastically, we both then quickly packed everything into my suitcase and chatted about where to eat.

     Mark came into the room and looked at Wilbur, "Are you guys all packed up?" He asked as he began to look around the room, "Yep." Wilbur replied as he zipped up my suitcase, "What are you looking for Mark?" I asked, he looked back at me and replied, "I was looking for Ash." Wilbur placed my bag next to his and replied, "I think he and Joe went for lunch already." "Joe told me they were gonna head to some arcade." I interjected, Mark looked at the two of us before he asked, "Are you two heading somewhere?"

     Wilbur wrapped his arm around my waist, "Yeah," he replied, "we're going to go get a bite downtown." "I'll bring something back for you if you want Mark." I added, he looked at me, "No thanks," he replied, "I was just going to head out myself." He took one last look around the room before he headed out.

     "Where should we head then, love?" Wilbur inquired, I looked over at him and replied, "Wherever you want." He raised an eyebrow at me, "Why do you always want me to make the decisions?" He asked, "I just," I hesitated, "I just want to make sure you like wherever we go." Wilbur's expression quickly changed as he pulled me into a hug, "Oh, love," he cooed as he began to gently rub my back, "I'll love whatever we do if it's with you." 

     He then gently lifted my chin up, "Now let's go grab a bite." He chirped as he gently grabbed my hand, a small smile grew upon my lips. He grabbed his jacket and suddenly stopped, "Actually..." he muttered, he quickly handed me his jacket, "Would you like to wear this while we're out, dear?" He asked, it was quite hot out so I didn't totally believe that a jacket would be necessary if we were going to be indoors for most of our outing. But I couldn't say no to the loving smile that had appeared on his lips.

     "Yes please." I replied, he helped me put it on before we headed out, both of us looking forward to the time we would finally have together. We walked around the downtown area in search of something to eat, eventually we found a little grill place and made our way inside. We were quickly led to a table and took our seats.

     Wilbur pulled out two menus and handed one to me before he examined everything, "Mark was looking around our hotel room." I remarked, Wilbur looked up from his menu, "He was looking for Ash," he assured, "even then Ash might've left something in there and asked Mark to try and find it." He quickly changed the subject, "There's a lot of choices here." He noted as he looked over the menu again, he had put on a light green work shirt over a beige tank top, which happened to be what he wore for the France show.
