When they finally reached Narissa's palace in undeath domain, Arctus knew that they were walking into a deadly trap.The demon lords under narissa's command was watching with extreme hostility. But he had come too far to back down now.

Narissa is a serpent demon queen. Her head is half demonic and she has snakes on the head instead of hair. Her lower half of the body is serpentile. She looks beautiful on the surface.But arctus knew that it was just a disguise spell. Her actual body is a rotten snake corpse that has been living for over 10,000 years by devouring souls. Her domain is nothing but a cage where souls are trapped and tormented forever and then devoured. Like her, the underlings under her command do the same thing. They go to the mortal plane to devour souls, which nourish them and made them stronger.

Narissa welcomed Arctus and Lirien, feigning friendliness. But Arctus could sense the malice and dark intent that lurked beneath her words.

Suddenly, Narissa revealed her true intentions. She had summoned Arctus to extract the pure magical essence from his body, with an archmages mana essence and her magic combined, would give her the power to rule over all realms. She would be extremely powerful.

Arctus refused and was ready to fight. Narissa unleashed her most powerful demons, but Arctus was ready. He used his forbidden grade spell of Soul's Requiems, causing destruction and chaos to the demon realm.

It was a spell designed by ancient mages who once battled demons who devour souls. Arctus found this spell in a tome in a magic tower ruins some 700 years ago. It makes the souls of the devoured go free and turn their anguish and pain and anger on the devourer. The souls gains spectre like shape and attack the target untill his/her soul is teared to shreds and devoured by spectre like beings. Narissa was no more, and her kingdom fell into ruin.

Demon realms shook after the battle as the most powerful demon queen is no more and her army and underling lords also perished. Two mortals killed a demi-god like existance, who seemed unbeatable to all demons. It was an impossible feat to most of them. They can't believe the reality.
