Chapter 11: Do I really miss him?

People began to come, I shake their hands. Almost all said sorry for your loss. But in my head it just said forget him get over with him he's a zero. But I just can't forget not for his parents, so I just act like I miss him but in my heart I don't understand my head do I miss him or not?

I invite James to the funeral just to be friendly because he invited me to his fathers funeral. He showed up alone he walked over to me and said "Hey sorry for your loss" "Hey thanks" I said to him. We stood there in awkward silence for three minutes when he finally said "I broke up with Madison" "Oh are you okay. Is she okay" I responded "Yes I'm fine but Madison is so angry she is trying to go to my parents and say that I abused her and she will charge me so she can get money, but we have already call the cops on her and they said if she ever called them that they will do nothing. But I think she already got a new boyfriend" he said back to me.

"Do you know his name?" I asked him "Yeah his name is Xavier Merino a Spanish boy" he said "Of course it's a Spanish boy she loves Spain and she had always said to me that she will marry a Spanish guy" I responded back to him. We talk for a bit when I suddenly saw that everyone had come so I said to James that the funeral is soon to start so we both find our seats and listen to the priest.

Some few hold a speech including my mom. When the final speech was done the food was served and in the mean time the guest could say the final goodbye.

My mom drived me home. I went to sleep because I was so tired.

I woke up to see that it was 01:34 am in the night I couldn't sleep anymore so I went down to the kitchen and took some ice cream and went back to my room and saw some YouTube. In The mean time I saw YouTube I also check Luke's instagram profile and for those pictures that he had posted for like two weeks ago in the comments they all text rest in peace I will always miss you. Mom many of the text was from his friends and family.

In the morning my mom finally woke up she made me some pancakes and some coffee. We went out to shop some clothes and some new shoes. My mom said to me that I should finally get out of bed and do something outside so she dragged me to the mall so we could have a mom and daughter day, we also eat some lunch and drink some coffee and then we head back home.

In the car I got a text, I took my phone up and looked at the screen it was James, he invited me to his party he hold it in his parents lake house and all the seniors gonna be there. I could remember that James had talked about a party he will trough he called it graduation party but I said to him he need to hold it after we graduate but he won't listen he just told me that it was a before graduation party and I just say yeah yeah. So here are we now he is inviting me to his before graduation party.

"Mom?" I almost whispered "yes honey" my mom responded "can I go to James's party this weekend?" I asked I could see on my mom she was thinking about it then she said "ok fine" "thanks mom I love you!!" I said with a big smile on my face.

Friday
James party is 09:00 pm and it's 07:34 pm right now and I'm not ready yet so I need to hurry up.
My new friend Ivy is gonna help me she text me that she will be there in five minutes so I'm just waiting for her because it's her that will pick my outfit. "Honey Ivy is here!!" I hear my my mom yell. I walk downstairs to hug Ivy and then we walk back upstairs to my room to pick an outfit for the party.

James had told me that he had made a list with name that he had decided that could stay overnight because his party is the hole weekend but he didn't had enough space so all could stay overnight and he had call me just to tell that me and Ivy is on the list so we also packed some outfits to Saturday and Sunday. We also packed some pajamas and our toilet bags and some comfort clothes to afternoon. We arrived to James lake house there were already people inside the house and outside. we took our bag out of the truck and went inside the house, James saw us immanently and showed us our room he told us we need to share the rom and we responded that it was okay that we don't have a problem with it.
