The battlefield grew increasingly chaotic as Ruby and Weiss, their injuries too severe to continue, were forced to retreat to a safer distance. Sanemi's eyes widened with concern as he watched Blake and Yang intensify their fighting, their determination fueled by the dire situation.
But the hybrid, Lower Rank 5, wasn't finished yet. It opened its grotesque mouth wide, a sinister grin spreading across its face. From within its maw, a vile purple substance was launched towards Blake with malevolent precision.
Blake's instincts kicked in, her body moving with agility and grace. She narrowly evaded the majority of the projectile, but a small amount managed to land in her mouth. Instantly, her eyes widened in realization, and she dropped to her knees, clutching her throat.
Sanemi's voice rang out, filled with urgency. "Blake! No! That substance... it's poison!"
Yang's eyes widened with alarm as she fought with renewed ferocity. "Blake, hang on! We'll find a way to help you!"
Sanemi quickly assessed the situation, his mind racing to find a solution. "We need to neutralize the poison before it spreads further. Yang, keep the hybrid occupied. I'll find a way to counteract the toxin."
Yang nodded, her eyes filled with determination. "You can count on me, Sanemi. Just make sure Blake gets the help she needs."
Sanemi darted through the battlefield, his senses heightened as he searched for any sign of an antidote. His mind flashed back to his training, recalling the various poisons and their remedies. He knew time was of the essence.
Meanwhile, Yang fought fiercely, her fists a blazing fury as she unleashed a barrage of attacks against the hybrid. She refused to let her anger consume her, channeling it instead into her strikes. Every blow landed with fierce determination, her resolve unwavering.
The hybrid sneered, its voice laced with sadistic pleasure. "Do you think you can defeat me, little huntress? Your efforts are in vain."
Yang gritted her teeth, her voice filled with defiance. "I'll do whatever it takes to protect my friends. And that includes taking you down!"
As the battle raged on, Sanemi's frantic search finally yielded a glimmer of hope. He discovered a plant with medicinal properties known to counteract certain poisons. Swiftly plucking the leaves, he rushed back to where Blake writhed in pain.
