Captain Hook's Daughter (Once Upon a Time Fan Fiction)

Initiation

I can't believe I got away with that. They didn't question my motives at all. They led us back to camp. I then realized I was missing my backpack. I had it up to the point my hands were tied. I started weaving through the crowd of boys to see if I saw it. Rose ran up to me.

"Are you okay?"

"I can't find my backpack."

When we get back to camp, Peter Pan asks me why I look so rushed. I tell him I can't find my backpack. He then produced it from thin air. My mouth drops open a little. I can't help but be impressed, after all, the only real magic I have seen is pixie dust. I take my backpack and swing it onto my right and then left. Peter Pan then jumps onto a stump. The boys raucous behavior seizes.

"We have new arrivals!" he shouts, and receives some cheers and shouts.

"Stand up and tell us your name and age!"

I immediately jump onto the stump after him, talking in front of crowds? A piece of cake.

"I am Morgan Fischer, or Morgan Jones. You can call me Scout!"

An uproar of applause meets my words. They don't even question my nickname. Rose knows though. This nickname used to bug me. I had a short haircut, and was nicknamed after the character from "To Kill a Mockingbird".

Then Rose hops up on the stump, she announces her full name, Rose Gold. She has never liked talking in front of crowds.

"Are you prepared for initiation?" Pan asks.

I look at Rose, we both are caught off guard.

"You will learn to use the power of imagination. If you cannot use it you will join Felix's group, but if you can you will join mine."

I realize that Felix's group is much larger than Pan's. He nods toward me, so I step into the circle of boys. He tells me to imagine a power I wish I had. I can't help but think of ice. Just like Elsa. He then tells me to do something inspiring with this power. So I start singing "Let it Go", having to slip in and out if my lighter airy voice I use for high pitches. It is hard to sing this song as an alto. I create the whole castle just like in the movie. I finish closing the door, and start down the stairs. As I go down the section I exit starts to melt, just as my dress starts to fade, I exit the now nonexistent castle. Grinning like a maniac, I am congratulated by Pan, into making his group. Next is Rose. She creates Loki's whole outfit on herself.

I grin and shout, "Cosplay!"
