" I wanna kiss" Suho pouted on the screen, Sieun's phone leaning against a stack of books as he packed away his homework. Sieun looked up from where he was putting away his pencils and highlighters, " And you will get one" He said and saw Suho's face light up, " on our first date." Suho's face immediately fell and he plopped down on the hospital bed, face screwed up. He whined, huffing as he stared at the ceiling. Sieun scoffed, laughing as he straightened up from his slouching position on the chair, " Suho, my muscle man, our date is tomorrow. You've been in the hospital for a month and they're discharging you tomorrow. You can survive another 12 hours." Sieun said, watching as Suho sat up, a pout still on his face. " No, I can't." Suho suddenly perked up, a smirk spreading on his lips, " and since when do you have nicknames for me?"

Sieun had his usual blank face on, staring at his boyfriend as he internally smirked. That nickname, along with a few others that didn't need to be said out loud, had started around the second day of them knowing each other. He had liked Suho the second he saw him, but seeing their circumstances and situations, there wasn't any time for flirting or confessing his love for the MMA fighter. And he also hadn't known if Suho was gay or not, so he didn't want to risk it. So while they became best friends, Sieun was collecting and creating names for Suho in his head. He never planned on saying any of them out loud. He just didn't know that there would be a time where he and Suho would become more than friends, more than best friends. He didn't know that there would be a time, like now, in the present, where Suho would be teasing him, a smirk on his bruised yet healing face, about his pet names for him.

"I've always had nicknames for you, I just didn't have a reason to use them until now." Sieun said, standing up as he went and dropped his bag next to the bedroom door. After flicking off his light, he went and grabbed his phone, dropping down onto his bed as he took off his socks. On the screen, Suho had set the phone onto his food tray and was messing with the hospital rooms' TV remote, flipping through the channels while he ate his food. Hearing this, Suho chokes a little on his food. He finishes the bite, drinking his water before muting the tv and looking back at the phone. He clears his throat before he raises his eyebrows and tilts his head, "You've always had nicknames for me? Why?"

Sieun lays down on his back, the phone hovering over his face, "Well, let me just say this. You make it very easy for someone to care for you and love you. To me, nicknames show my love for you, because I took the time to think about what I've wanted to call you, because it's showing my way of a connection with you. So, in conclusion," Sieun's mouth stretches into a wide grin as he brings his face closer to the camera, and laughing a bit as he sees Suho doing the same, "I love you. And my names for you shows that love for you." Suho pulls away from the camera, smiling big as he adjusts his grip on the phone. He suddenly winks at Sieun, getting a laugh out of him before puckering his lips and blowing a kiss towards Sieun, "I love you to, baby." Sieun, caught off guard, can feel his face burning.

Suho laughs at him as he starts to fan at his face, hoping that the blush will disappear, but with his luck, it stays in place, causing Suho to crackle louder. "You're an asshole. Go on the date by yourself." Sieun says as his finger hovers over the 'end call' button. "Wait, wait!! I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Suho says as he gasps for air, muttering 'ow' as he grasps at his ribs. "That's what you get." Sieun mutters as he watches Suho catch his breath. Suho, finally being able to breath, makes a finger heart through the screen, "I really do love you, sunshine." Sieun tries aiming for his blank expression, but at his own nickname, his eyes brighten, and his lips spread into a living smile. "I love you, muscle man. I'll see you tomorrow, ok? I'll be there first thing after school." They say goodnight and leave FaceTime. Sieun clutches the phone in his hands, grinning to himself as he turns off his lamp. He makes sure his phone is on the charger before readjusting himself, letting himself drift off, his mind filled with pictures of his favorite person. He falls into a deep sleep, his mind and body finally at peace.
