this skit is before the last btw.

they sat. both in spinning chairs. both too bothered by the dense silence to speak. one kicked their legs against the chair like a child while they looked the other in the eyes. the opposer looked back, crossed arms while they leaned back into the chair more.

"I'm.. sorry." the childish one spoke first, stopping the kicking of their legs and hanging their head in shame. "I- I.. I left to "protect you all." if I just stayed.." they sniffled, croaking the next part. "we maybe all could've helped stop shigaraki and all for one." they looked back up to red eyes, the oh, oh, so enchanting red eyes they hate to look into at this very instant.

"just.. look at what he did to you." they said, flinging out a hand at the others face and chest. "you almost died, kacchan!" he cried, his eyes glassing over as they scanned over the scarred face and what they could see from his chest.

the opposing looked at the other and uncrossed their arms. "so? what's all that matters is that I'm still here. but then again, look at where you were. barley could keep fighting when we found you." the male known as kacchan stated. "shitty deku.." he chuckled, standing up and looking down at the other in the chair.

"I.. I know it was stupid, kacchan. I almost couldn't stop myself when I saw you. with that, we're lucky you still are here! he tore open your damn heart kacchan! the organ that fuels your body.." deku said, tripping over his words, looking to the singular poster in the counseling office they were in. "face it head on." it said, with a picture of allmight in his golden age.

"deku, you know why were in here, right?" bakugou stated, sitting down with a grunt. "yes, kacchan. i know. we have to work out.." he pointing between the two bodies. "us, basically."

bakugou sighed, yet nodded. "I worry about you, deku. may not seem like I do, but alas I do." he said with a shrug. deku was purely touched. "but, that's not why you came on the rescue mission with the class was it? other than your apology— which I still have hugged you my heart— you wouldn't of come." he said in a clear tone.

"why?" deku said, standing up to walk around to the back of the chair. he could see bakugou stiffen.

"why?" bakugou repeated, glaring at jade eyes. "I did it because not only I care about you, but because there's depth to that." he said, emphasizing depth. deku swallowed the lump in his throat, as he hoped that this didn't turn out how he wanted it to. "depth?" deku said, trying to play dumb. he fully understood though.

bakugou liked him.

deku won't lie, he likes bakugou too.

the blonde narrowed his eyes. "are you as stupid as fucking dunce face?" he shot at the man. "apparently, seems so." the green replied.

bakugou groaned and threw his head back.

"you idiot, I like you."

he pointed his finger between the two of them. "me, you, us. our chemistry is complicated, and I've been trying to fix that." he said, and he saw dekus shoulders visibly relax some bit.
