The first order of business for their date was the 'Unique Nails' salon. Aiden was a big fan of the beautiful art they uploaded all over on Instagram. He needed to get his nails done with their professional touch. He walked into the salon with Denzel right behind him; incredibly ecstatic to be on their first date.

" Oh my god babe there's so many options to choose from. I was thinking I should get something with a butterfly design but now I think a heart motif would be better. That bunny design over there is so cute though. What do you think? Denzel? Denzel!" Aiden had to pull Denzel by his dreads to snap him back into reality. His brain could handle only so much talk about nails before calling it quits and zoning out.

" Oh, uh go for what feels right with you. You'll look great in whatever you choose," Denzel kissed Aiden on his forehead to cheer him up but he still was hesitating to even enter the store.

" That's the problem. There's all these options and they all feel right! This is our first date and I need to have the perfect set of nails to cap off this day."

" Dude, you need to chill with all that. Save that ocd attitude for editing books. This is your day to relax and have fun. Make a choice and stand by it. I promise you'll look fucking beautiful no matter what you choose. Now let's get in there 'cause you know how bitchy these nail techs can get if you're even one second late," Denzel held onto Aiden's hand as they entered the salon and were instantly bombarded with an overwhelming aura of acetone. A front desk worker gave them a warm smile before letting Aiden's nail tech know that he arrived.

" Alright I'm going with the heart one. The art reminds me of The Powerpuff Girls." Aiden gave his boyfriend a loving kiss on the lips and then went to take his seat. His gelatinous ass jiggled with every step he took toward the chair. He felt all the staring eyes gazing in his direction, but he didn't mind it one bit. He had a new sense of confidence after accepting himself. Let them stare! They probably wished their butts could be at least half as big. Aiden plopped down in a chair and told the nail tech what he had planned.

Aiden gleefully watched his nails get filed, trimmed, moisturized, coated, and painted. The technician sure knew what they were doing because Aiden was grinning ear to ear the entire time. His nails glistened a bright pink hue that featured layering hearts, bringing to mind the iconic Powerpuff Girls intro.

 He ran up to Denzel to show off the goods. " Honey look! They gave me the exact look I wanted and everything is on point! This is the cutest my nails have ever been," Aiden glowed with excitement. It's the happiest he's been in ages.

" Told you you'd make the right choice. Now you look ready to fight crime and save the world", Denzel and Aiden shared a laugh. Aiden pulled out his debit card from his wallet to pay for the service, but Denzel gently stopped his hand. " Don't even think about it. This is your special day which means I'm treating you out. Let me take care of everything."

Like a true gentleman, Denzel paid for everything and even left behind a generous tip. Aiden had to count his blessings because he never thought he'd ever be in a relationship like this. He grew up watching romantic movies where men treated their girlfriends like a princess and catered to their every whim. Gay men in the media seldom had idyllic relationships if they were even represented in the first place. They were either treated like a dirty secret or had their love end in tragedy. Wanting to remedy that problem is what inspired Aiden to write stories in the first place. He wanted to create a world where guys like him could live their best lives.

" I don't know what I would do without you," Aiden eagerly pulled Denzel into a tight yet affectionate bear hug. All that fat rubbing up on his body made Denzel stiffen up real quick. Their bulges clashed together like two dogs butting heads. " I'm starting to think there's Viagra in your DNA or some shit."
