Scrivener Cafe was a combination of two things Aiden held dearly: food and books. This fairly new bookstore-restaurant hybrid opened up only a few years prior yet it was already a massive hit within the community. Aiden entered the building in awe of the shelves upon shelves of indie books. So many different stories just waiting to be read. The only thing stopping him from cracking open several of those books was his growling stomach begging for attention.
" Oh damn I'm starving. Let's get a table and order something up."
Aiden walked over to a table seated in front of a window, letting the radiant sun bram brilliantly on his now shiny dome. Denzel was half tempted to pop out a pair of sunglasses but he didn't want to be rude. " See anything you like? This is my special treat so don't hold back. I wanna see my babe get stuffed."
Aiden glossed the menu over deep in thought over what to get. So many tempting options yet only so much room in his stomach. It's no surprise that he's always been a big eater.
" Oh Damn everything looks so good. I'll play it safe with two burgers and fries. Maybe get a vanilla milkshake while I'm at it. Can't go wrong with that. Whatcha gonna get?"
" I'm gonna keep it light with a tuna salad, turkey panini, and a side of pasta. Can't let these muscles get flabby, know what I mean?" Denzel bragged as he flexed his biceps for Aiden to drool over. Seeing those toned muscles reminded him of the time Denzel carried him to the bedroom like a groom to his bride. It was one of the several things Denzel did to make him feel loved.
" Do you remember the first time we met?" Aiden asked once their food arrived.
" 'Course I do. How could I forget? You got lost around campus looking for your Black history class and I thankfully was the first guy you asked for help. As Luck would have it, we both had Mr Archibold's class so I led you there."
" And on the way there I accidentally- on purpose dropped my books so I could give you a nice view while picking them up."
Denzel's eyebrows arched up with excitement. " Ayo that was on purpose? That shit had me brick hard! Though I died and went to heaven seeing all that fatass stuffed in them tight pants. Had to play it off like I wasn't staring dead at you. I was thinking to myself, " Goddamn this dude is fucking thick! Nikki Minaj better look out." Denzel tackled laughing while Aiden looked a tad embarrassed.
" You know how I feel about people comparing me to that plastic bitch. If you felt that way about me all the way back then I wish you would've, you know, shoot you shot or whatever."
" I could say the same thing to you. We were both head over heels in love at first sight but too dumb to admit it. I was too busy worrying about what my guys would've thought about me having a boyfriend to take the first step with you. Imagine that. Me giving a fuck what anyone else has to say about me. I haven't always been this confident. Used to hang around hood dudes who would've clowned me if they found out I was gay. Come to find out later that a few of them were dl niggas and got caught having a gangbang in the locker room!"
" Oh shit you must be talking about Mr Reginald! I always thought there was something weird about a white guy teaching black history at an HBCU. Guess he must've had some crazy jungle fever cause I heard he slept with the whole basketball team. To be fair, he was definitely passionate about teaching black history so I don't think he fetishized us or anything. He still gave a lot of special treatment to dudes with dreadlocks though." Aiden folded his arms and cocked his eyes at Denzel.
Denzel snickered as he raised his hands. " Guilty as charged. Guess he had an eye for natural beauty. Had a fat ass too. Might've been even bigger than yours. Maybe we should track him down so we can compare sizes."
