He hated her.

Or at least pretended to.

She also hated him.

Or she thought.

Y/N, the second bassist of the Slovenian band, Joker Out, loved her bandmates.

Except for Kris.

Since the day they met, they never got along.

Anything she said would be turned into a joke by Kris.

It seemed like he had just never made an effort to respect and like her as a friend.

So she just grew hate towards him.

Little did she know that he was just neglecting his feelings for her.

From the moment she stepped into their brand new studio, his heart just went crazy for her. He could barely look at her in the eyes, or else he would start blushing and gagging whenever he tried to speak.

He couldn't believe that he was falling in love with the newest member of their band and thought that if he ever confessed to her, it would just ruin everything. Therefore, he started acting like he always wanted her dead, which was totally not true, but if she ever even doubted that he had feelings for her, it would be a game over for the hard work the band had done.

"Hi! Do you like my new haircut?" Y/N said as she stepped foot into their studio, asking her bandmates as it was a big change for her.

"You look fucking stupid."

Guess who said that?

"Could you just stay quiet?"

"Well, you asked a question, I'm just answering it."

"Guys, let's not start this again -" Bojan tried to intervene, but it was too late.

"Could you just make an effort to at least be nice to me? It's not asking much, you know. You just need to be a good human being."

"I would be nice to you but from the moment I met you, you just ruined my life."

"How would I even ruin your life?! I barely even talk to you, and when I do, it is just to shut you up from saying mean stuff to me!"

"Well, maybe because I always had feelings for you and you were too fucking stupid and too fucking blind to even realize it, so congratulations Y/N, you are the person that ruined my life for ever."

The band just looked at Kris with wide eyes as Y/N had tears starting to fall from her eyes.

"Guys, how about you go talk outside, I think it's the best for everyone." Jure says, standing up, putting his hand on Y/N's back while leading her outside with Kris following them.

She stood in front of him, trying to collect her thoughts. All the moments he nudged her for everything she did was just him trying to deny his own feelings. Maybe all the times she shut him up was just a way of making her stop thinking that he hated her, the person she loved the most and didn't even know about it hated her.

"So is it true?"

Kris just stayed silent.

"Kris, is it true? Everything you said? Tha you have feelings for me?"

"Yes."

There was a long pause before Kris started trying to explain himself.

"Y/N, I'm sorry, it's just -"

"Why didn't you ever talk about this? You believed that I couldn't have feelings for you?"

"Do you?"

"Yes, I do."

"Oh."

"Yeah."

"I guess we're even now." Y/N chuckles, wiping her nose and cheeks with the back of her hand.

"I guess so."

"What do we do now?"

"I mean, usually in movies this is where the "enemies to lovers" start kissing but I don't know, your cheeks look slimy from the tears."
Kris says while starting to put his hands on her waist and her arms go around his neck, her face leaning towards his.

"Shut up Kris."

Then they started a kiss that both never thought would ever happened, but thankfully, it did.

After a few minutes they break apart due to Jan's being there, staring at them.

"Damn, now that's a love story."

"How long have you been here?" Y/N asks.

"Long enough to see that you're probably going to end up marrying each other."

While her arms are still around Kris' neck and his hands on her waist, she rolls her eyes while he laughs at Jan's comment.

"So are you guys boyfriend and girlfriend now or just stupid?"

"Are we?" Kris asks while looking deep into her eyes.

"I guess we are." She smiles.

"Great, happy for you. Before you kiss again, can you come inside? We really need to finish a song, like right now."

Y/N held Kris' hand and led him inside behind Jan.

When they entered, the members saw their hands and started cheering for them as they knew how long both of them had feelings for each other.
