Bowser x Reader (Working On A Title!!)

Chapter One

Narrators POV:

It was a normal sunny day in the Mushroom Kingdom. The sky was bright blue and clear from any clouds. A castle could be seen overlooking the bustling city of Toads. The castle was big and white with red roofing. A stained glass portrait of two girls could be seen at the very front centre of the castle. One of the girls had blonde hair and was wearing a pink dress, the other had (H/C) hair and a (F/C) dress. These two where known as the Mushroom Kingdom princesses, Princess Peach and Princess (Y/N). The civilians of the Mushroom Kingdom respected the princesses greatly.

Princess Peach was considered the main ruler of the Kingdom due to her being older, whereas the younger princess was being trained to one day take the thrown in Peaches place. The two sisters had a close bond and was rarely seen apart. Most days they prefer to take brisk walks through the kingdom, helping as many toads in need as they could. Today was a lot livelier than ever, the streets of the kingdom was packed out, the kingdom was decorated with colourful bunting, music played in the centre of the city square and the castle was preparing for a giant party. The day was a celebration of Princess (Y/N)'s 21st Birthday.

(Y/N) POV:

I woke up to the sound of loud rustling. I groggily lift my head up and look around my room, the majority of it was a blur but it looked like no one was in here. However the rustling noise got louder and louder. I rubbed my eyes and sat up more worried at what or who was making the sound.

"Hello? Peach is that you?" I ask hoping to get a response. Nothing. The sound continued until I felt it was right next to me. I look over to my right and led on the floor in an army crawl position was Peach. I roll my eyes and giggle.

"Morning Peach. What are you doing?" I ask slightly confused at her actions. I reach out my hand and she takes it. I help her get up to a sitting position and she smiles letting out a small giggle.

"I was trying to surprise you! It is your birthday after all!" She smiles widely , dusting off her nightgown as she now starts to stand up. I notice a (F/C) wrapped present in her hand.

"Peach what did I say about presents!?" I say crossing my arms. I didn't like Peach going out and spending money on pointless gifts.

"I knowww but I couldn't resit it!" She pouts sitting on the bed next to me. She places the gift on my legs and I sigh loudly. I pick up the neatly wrapped gift and stare at it for a moment. The wrapping paper was (F/C) with a pink bow on top, it was only small around the size of my hand and it was lightweight. I start to unwrap it noticing a black jewellery box. I set the torn wrapping aside and gently open the box. Sitting in it was a gold necklace with a heart pendant.

"It's a locket, open it." Peach says softly. I do as she says and inside was a picture of us both. We where laughing in the picture, our hairs soaking wet from when the sprinklers turned on and attacked us. I laugh at the memory.

"That was a fun day. Peach this is beautiful. But you really didn't have to get it for me." I say frowning a little.

"Oh shush! I wanted to get it you to remind you of our bond and to always know I will always be with you." She smiles tearing up a little. I smile softly at her an pull her in for a hug.

"Thank you Peach. I'll always cherish and wear it. Now lets get ready for the day ahead ya big softie!" I giggle pulling out of the hug. I place the necklace back into the box whilst I get ready. Peach gets up and leaves to get ready whilst I check inside of my wardrobe for a dress to wear. After a few minuets of searching I find the perfect one. Its a long dress similar to Peach's regular one but in my signature colour. I brush my hair and leave it down. I grab the necklace Peach had just gifted me and walk towards the mirror that is hanging on my wall. I place it around my neck and clasp it at the back. I hold the locket piece for a moment whilst smiling softly. Everything was perfect.

I walk away from my mirror and slip on some small heels that match the dress along with my crown. The royal advisors would throw a fit if I was walking around without it on even though it's kinda heavy and annoying. I add some finishing jewellery on and then walk out of my room and into the corridors heading towards the dining hall for some breakfast.

As I wander the halls I greet some of the toad staff rushing around, They each give a birthday message before scurrying along to complete their tasks. I continue walking before finally making it into the dining hall. Peach was already sat at the huge table eating what looked to be a croissant with some berries in a bowl. She sips some ice tea before noticing me walking in.

"You look so pretty (Y/N)!!" She exclaims. Peach was wearing her usual dress and accessories. I thank her before sitting down.

"Whats on the breakfast menu today?" I ask a toad who was stood at the end of the table with a dining cart.

"We have fresh fruit and berries, croissants, toast with a range of jams, cereal and eggs." He replies with a flat tone. I think for a moment before choosing (choice). He places a portion in front of me with an ice tea too. I thank him before he leaves back into the kitchen. I take a bite of my food and smile happily at the taste. I finish the food in my mouth before speaking.

"So what's on the agenda today Peach?" I ask, silently hoping for a somewhat relaxed day.

"Well we have mountains of paperwork to fill out, then 10 meetings and then we have a few shop openings we have to oversee." Peach says in a flat tone. I open my mouth in disbelief before Peach bursts out into laughter. I then realise it was a joke and give her a 'Seriously?' look.

"S-sorry... It was too good... of an opportunity to pass up!" Peach says through laughter. I give her a glare before eventually joining in with the laughter.

"Ok I will admit that was pretty funny. So what's really happening today?" I ask after my laughter calmed down.

"Well we do have to go into town but it's for the party the toads are throwing for you. I think there is gonna be a gift accepting ceremony and then it's the party here in the castle." Peach says whilst sipping some ice tea.

"Ok. So seems like a not too chaotic day then." I reply. Peach nods her head in response before continuing to eat her food. I smile then continue to eat mine. Not long after we continued to eat a low rumble could be heard.

"What is that?" Peach asks. Just as she says that a handful of toad guards come rushing in.

"Princesses! An unknown ship has arrived in the kingdom and it doesn't loo friendly! Their leader is demanding to see you both!" One of the toads says. Me and Peach look at each other with a worried look. Peach clears her throat before looking back at the group.

"Get the rest of the toad guards to be on guard. If things take a turn for the worst make sure you evacuate the entire kingdom into the mushroom woods and wait for further instructions. I just hope it's not a war declaration." She orders calmly but I knew she was worried. I hold her hand and give a gentle smile.

"I'm sure we will get through this. The kingdom will be safe." I say in a calm and reassuring tone. However that was the opposite. Inside I was totally freaking out. No one has ever threatened the Kingdom before. We where one of the weaker kingdoms due to us only having toads as an army. I gripped Peaches hand tightly as we make our way onto the balcony. I just hope we can sort this out quickly.

Here it is! The first chapter of a currently unnamed (currently as I'm writing this! So It may have a name by the time you're reading this!) bowser x reader fanfic XD. I'm in a Super Mario fixation rn and especially Bowser. I mean have you seen his muscles!?!? But ahem- anyways I hope you enjoyed this super long first chapter! Oh yeah explanation as to why peach doesn't bring up bowser kidnapping her! In this fanfic he's basically meeting them for the first time. But yeah I hope you enjoy the rest of the story and I hope to remember to actually post chapters frequently lolllll
