Chapter 4: Horror Movie

After telling the mayor that Dexters body had gone missing, Patty had gotten in trouble and she was more paranoid than ever. She had been told that he has been spotted around town, alive, walking around and speaking as if nothing ever happened to him. The only thing that could make things worse than they already were would be Bob getting back up again...

She had been sitting at her desk for hours thinking of what to do. The mayor had already threatened to fire her, and maybe John was right.

She got up from her desk and walked to the staff room looking for John. But he wasn't there. She walked out of the room, pacing around thinking of where John could be.

John entered the building, she looked over and ran up to him.

"John!" She said running over.

John didn't know what was going on so he seemed confused.

"Dexters body went missing today! And it seems that there have been sightings of him reported around town, I don't know what happened, but it's not good. You seem to know more about this than I do..."

"Oh, so now you belive me? It took a dead body to come back to life for you to believe me?" John says he raises an eyebrow.

Patty sighed. "Yes, I know- But in all seriousness, this is bad! Imagine what would happen if Bob came back. And who knows... If they come back to life, they're technically zombies... What if they can't be killed?"

"Hmmm.. Well, I don't think it's zombies, but still, the not dying thing could be true... Listen, I'll show you my cork board. We can try and figure this out."

"Sure- Not sure how that's help since it looks like the ramblings of a mad man, but sure."

"Well, now you have proof I'm not insane, so you can stop saying that."

"Right-"

The two start walking back to the staff room to look at the cork board hoping they can figure out what was going on. Why were the bodies coming back to life? And how...?

Skid and Pump were outside walking around, the two had been talking and laughing together, but they were starting to get bored.

"Hey Skid?" Pump asked, turning to Skid.

"Yeah?" Skid replies.

"What do we do now?"

"Hmmm..." Skid thinks. "Oh! Do you wanna go visit Jaune?"

"Jaune?" Pump asks "Your mom's friend?"

"Yeah! She's cool! She let's me watch scary movies on her TV!"

"Doesn't your mom also let you do that?"

"Yeah, but she's been telling me to watch less horror movies, and doesn't let me watch anything rated over 12+"

"Oh." Pump says "I guess that is pretty cool then!"

"Yeah! Wanna go?"

"Sure!"

The two run to Jaunes. Skid and Pump both knock on the door and Ross answers.

Ross looks down at the two. "Uhhh- What're you guys doing here? Didn't you get chased by some weirdo a couple hours ago?" He asks.

"Yeah, we did, but we wanted to watch a horror movie!" Skid smiles.

"Couldn't you have like... Gone to the movie theatre?"

"We don't have any money with us." Pump says.

"Oh. I guess I'll let you in, but you'll have to ask mom about that. I'll be in my room." Ross says as he starts walking upstairs.
