Part 19; Scars

Two years have passed since then. Y/n did end up fleeing the country due to overwhelming feelings but also because she wanted to have a fresh start. She ended up going to Canada for a bit to start her new career then ended up in LA. What happened to Changbin and Taehyung? she will never know. She did know but at the same time only knew what the fans knew, tours, interviews, whatever the members posted on social media but beyond that she didn't. There have been times where she wanted to call but didn't give in. She also ended up giving birth in LA towards the beginning of her career but luckily her company was a good one and came up with a good contract so her career wasn't a bust when everything happened 

Y/n decided to go back to Korea to visit her family and possibly move back too. When she landed at the airport she took a deep breath. "well we are here". She told her child with a smile and walked out. They got into a taxi and went to her parents' house. "Oh my goodness my babies". The woman said recieving them with open arms giving them a big hug. "honey come here they arrived, oh my goodness let me help you with the stuff". she spoke helping y/n and going inside "Y/n, sweetie glad you're safe, sorry I didn't return your call I was helping mom make food". Her dad spoke when they got in. Y/n got settled in and let her child wander around and explore the house while the adults chatted and caught up. They never spoke about that day and pretended like it never happened but deep down it was like a scar, faded but still there with memories.

The day has passed and all of them went to sleep, then the next day came and y/n made breakfast for everyone. Once they all ate and did chores she decided to go for a walk and then to the park. "go on and play" she told her kid even though they were sitting on the grass and the toddler started to pick the grass. Then the child stood up and ran away "No- Come here you-" she said trying to  grab it but the child ended up bumping into someone and cried "dont cry it's ok" she said while swaddling "I am so sorry I didn't mean for it to happen" She spoke to the stranger and then looked up at him, her heart started to beat fast and had this sinking stomach feeling. "Hey it's alright y/n" Tae said with his heart smile "how are you?' "I am good just you know being busy with my little ray of sunshine" she answered and let out a small laugh "he's cute, what's his name" he said and waved to the little boy but he hid his face "He's a bit shy but his name is Ryu, and-" she got interrupted as some tiny hands wrapped around her leg "Who is that?" 

"This is Jihao.... my other son, they are twins, Ryu is the shy one and oldest and Jihao is the youngest and as you can see the outgoing one" Tae laughed and picked up Jihao since the little boy was asking him to pick him up "What are you doing here anyways, are you walking Tannie? where is  he?" "I wish I was but I was on my way to the market, Yeontan died a couple of months after, but it's fine he wasn't suffering or anything but it's fine, anyways, want to accompany me or are you busy?" Y/n shook her head as she put Ryu down and took Jihao from Tae and put him down as well and put them both in a stroller "I am not but I do not want to ruin your plans you can go ahead thanks for the invite though". she told him and he wanted to say more, there were so many questions he wanted answered but he nodded "alright well if you want to catch up sometime I am a call away, I still have your number saved and mine hasn't changed, it was nice seeing you and Ryu and Jihao". Tae said ruffling each of the boy's hair and walked away 

Y/n smiled it off but she didn't know what to think but brushed it off. When they walked home one of the boys spilled juice on the other's shirt. "Oh no, Ryu you have to be careful". she said trying to wipe off the mess but it was too late since it stained his white shirt. she then got up and looked in the bag to see if she has a spare shirt "and of course I do not have one how convenient" she mumbled and sighed hearing Jihao cry which made Ryu cry. "No boys please not right now look lets go into this store and I will buy Jihao a shirt then we can go  buy you each a toy or go back home how does that sound?". She told them trying to calm them down because she doesn't like the attention that she is receiving. The twins were managed to calm down while walking inside a store. Her and the kids ended up browsing the store and found a good shirt for Jihao and went to the counter to buy it. Y/n made the purchase, changed him into the shirt and walked home. Since she was exhausted she decided to take the bus for a bit so they can fall asleep and have some rest. 

y/n sat on the bench waiting for the bus and everything seemed confusing for her since she was used to getting driven or driving everywhere and rarely used the bus. She took out her phone so she can look at the bus route. "appa" Ryu said and y/n looked at him confused since she didn't show them their dad but did talk about him. "what do you mean sweetie? daddy isn't here, he is somewhere out there". "appa" he said again and raised his arm at the man that he saw walking up to them. y/n looked up to see who he was making the motion to and she waved akwardly. "Sorry, he tends to call people dad after seeing them more than once, When I was on the runway and he and Jihao were in the crowd he called some of the male models dad it was embarrassing". "It's alright I do not mind but um I see you're here waiting for the bus, I can give you a ride if you'd like, I also heard that it will rain later" Tae told her and grabbed the twin that called him dad and left the other in the stroller since he was starting to fall asleep.

Y/n couldn't refuse the offer and nodded. When she grabbed the other boy Tae's driver grabbed the stroller and folded it before putting it in the trunk. "Just so you know, I have Jungkook in the car, so don't mind him". he told her and nodded again then they both went in the car. 'why is he being so nice to me?' "So  how's Mel?" "she's great" he answered bluntly and played with Ryu "Why did you name them Ryu and Jihun? Jiheon?" Tae said trying to remember and y/n giggled. "Jihao and I don't know they were the first names that popped into my head and I looked up their meaning and asked my parents and they have beautiful meanings. Ryu means dragon and well dragons they resemble good luck, fortune and prosperity and I think he was the one we saw because the other one turned out to be a surprise at the end". She told him and gave Jihao to Jungkook since she could tell she wanted to hold the toddler "He's so tiny, look at him" Jungkook whispered to himself "What about Jihao?" "well that meaning is home, and family, it's normally spelled J-i-A-H-A-O, but I was too exhausted so I didn't see that I missed the A but that's what makes it more unique".

Y/N rambled on and on and Taehyung listened both missing that company that they gave each other. Soon they arrived at her parent's house and she invited him over but he declined making an excuse since he didn't want to fall for her all over again. "See you y/n" Tae spoke and got in the car and went off. Y/n put them to bed so they can take a better nap. 'I guess this wasn't a bad start' she thought to herself and sighed since she will start modeling in a week and had to find a new company because her contract is going to end soon.
