Hermione was pacing. Angelina, Luna and Ginny looked like they were watching a tennis match, worriedly watching on from the sofa, long given up on trying to talk her down. Hermione still looked beautiful though, hair curled and pinned up on the top of her head, strapless dress fitted at the top but flowing out from her hips.
Hermione checked the clock, two minutes. Two minutes until Arthur would be taking her out of the Weasley home and to her husbands. To her husbands that she barely knew, with only four exceptions. A knock sounded at the door as it creaked open, and Arthur entered. Hermione's eyes widened before she closed them, rubbing her temples to try and gain some composure.
"They're ready for you, dear."
She opened her eyes to meet Arthur's and forced a smile, which was returned in kind. Her bridesmaids filed out of the house after reassuring smiles were exchanged. Hermione clung to Arthur's arm for comfort as they left. She clung tighter when she was at the start of the aisle to keep herself standing or bolting.
Her soon-to-be husbands stood in an awkward line at the end, it was extremely intimidating , especially the third in line. Lucius Malfoy, as per usual, looked completely composed. He also looked like he would rather be anywhere else but here, sneering at anyone who dared look his way.
The first man was tall and well built, older going by the grey peppering his dark hair and beard. He looked confident and slightly cocky, a slight smirk on his face as he conversed with the man next to him. That man looked kinder, quieter than the first. Chin length messy brown hair, shorter but more muscular.
After Lucius stood a man who also had chin length brown hair but much tidier. He looked foreign and had paler skin. What Hermione noticed more than anything though was his striking green eyes. The next man was the complete opposite. A dark-skinned man with hair in cornrows to his shoulders. He looked almost jovial, eyes kind and his smile infectious. She noticed him give a small wave to someone sat on Hermione's side of the aisle... Remus.
Glancing to the next man, she noticed the tattoo's peeking out above his short collar and on his hands. He was handsome, short hair neatly styled, beard short, trimmed and well kept. Next to him stood someone she believed to be a model on one of those muggle magazines she used to have as a teenager. Muscled, tall with twinkly eyes and dimples to die for. The man was an Adonis! It made her feel completely insecure!
The man next to him made her feel no better! Tanned skin, just as muscular, with long black hair neatly tied back. He looked authoritative, his eyes dark and intense. The next man, although probably the most muscular of them all, was less intimidating. He had humour filled eyes and a cheeky face. He was currently flicking rolled up paper at the man who seemed to know Remus, gleefully laughing at Lucius when he hit him in the forehead and completely unaffected by his glaring. He will give the twins a run for their money!
Stood next were two kind looking men, quietly conversing. The first had wavy, shoulder length hair. He was slim and had a neatly trimmed beard. The second had darker, longer hair and deep brown eyes with a calm auror about him. He looked collected, unlike Hermione.
The last of her husbands were all men she knew. Fred and George watched on, amused and delighted at the man that was flicking paper – his new target was now a furious Lucius Malfoy. Seamus was talking to Harry, concern colouring their features.
Arthur kissed Hermione's forehead once in front of Kingsley and went to stand next to Molly. Hermione took a deep breath, the bonding began...
