Chapter 2 - My Sworn Friend

Last Chapter...

Soon I was near Veldora's seal hearing him talking about his story and how he was sealed inside that wore down cave.

Rimuru's Pov

"Yo Ciel, you sealed my aura, right?" I asked my partener

< Yes master your aura is 100% concealed, no one, not even the creator could sense you right now! > Ciel proudly said puffing her nonexistent chest

"Yes... I don't really want Veldora or anyone find out that I'm a True Dragon..." I replied

After I had my talk with Ciel I approached Veldora who was talking to himself, soon I started to talk to him.

Veldora's Pov

"Kuahahaha I am the one and only Great Storm Dragon Veldora! Also the strongest dragon! Kuahaha! You're wondering why I am inside this worn down cave? Well... about 300 years ago, I was minding my business but suddenly some poor vampires decided to disrespect me so I wanted to go and discuss woth them but when I landed I 'accidentally' blew up their town..." Veldora said to himself  "Yes and then they started attacking me! Kuahaha right such a poor reasoning for attacking, I only destroyed one town nothing much!"

"..." Rimuru stood in front of Veldora's prison looking at the tsundragon with a deadpanned face

"Yes, where was I? Right and then suddenly a masked hero appeared, I didn't fight with my full strength at first... but then I started getting serious but she still sealed me inside this cave!" Veldora said while laughing wholeheartedly

"Oi old man are you alright?" Rimuru asked Veldora

Rimuru's Pov

Right now I was sitting in front of Veldora's seal listening his story, suddenly he stopped, as I saw him I decided to intrude and start our conversation.

"Oi old man are you alright?" I asked as I sat down

"Huh?" Veldora asked as he looked at me surprised

'Who's this little girl? I didn't even sense her!' Veldora though but I could hear him...

"Oi badly I am not a girl!" I angrily shouted at the Storm Lizard

"Kuahaha, you dare call me a baldy, the Great Storm Dragon Veldora!" He shouted as the whole cave shook

"Oh Great Veldora! I see you're doing well!" I sarcastically said

"Kuahaha so you see my greatness, you are a interesting guy! Are you some type of Unique Human?" Veldora asked, as expected he didn't take the joke

"Well... I am not human, I am a slime!" I said as I transformed into a blue blob of slime "And what do you mean by Unique?" I hurriedly asked him

"Well... my aura doesn't affect you." Veldora commented

"Anyways, I came because I wanna be your friend!" I happily said taking my human form agai

"Kuahaha a mere slime wants to be my the Storm Dragon Veldora's friend?" Veldora asked while laughing

"If you don't want to then I'll leave." I said as I start walking away

"Wa- wait! I never said I don't want to!" Veldora shouted

'Tsundragon' I thought

"Then I shall get you out of that prison!" I claimed

"Really? You can?" Veldora happily asked while looking at me with his puppy eyes

"Hey don't look at me like that! It would be great If you were some cite girl but I don't want a dragon to look at me like that!" I shouted

"Anyways, I can get you out of the seal but with one condition!" I said

"What condition?" He hurriedly asked

"Well I want you to stay in my personal space for two years or so." I replied

"Kuahaha two years are nothing for me!" He happily claimed

"Ok then let's start-" I couldn't continue as he interrupted me

"Oi wait, how about I give you a name and you give me a second name like humans have!" Veldora haid

"Oh well I already have a name, my name is Rimuru Tempest, and how about from now on you will be Veldora Tempest!" I happily said to the dragon

"Kuahaha alright then from now on I am The Storm Dragon Veldora Tempest!"

After our little talk I broke Veldora's seal and absorbed him into my [Imaginary Space] where I prepared some mangas for him to read. Soon enough he became the Otaku Dragon again.

After we were done I started walking towards the exit absorbing any and every plant, ore and monster that came into view.

Soon the cave was completely deserted as I walked from Veldora's seal to the entrance 5 times as I had to wait 90 days until I could leave the cave.

I waited 90 days because I wanted to make this timeline as similar as the last one.

After the 90 days have passed I was standing after a rock near the sealed cave's door.

And as expected the door soon opened revealing two humans and one disguised elf. That's right the three idiots finnaly came!

Soon Gido used his 'Stealth Arts' soon they became invisible, well invisible for most people I could see them as clear as day.

Anyways, that's how I finnaly got out of that cave, now let's go help the goblins!
