-chapter 4-

I'm in math class right now , after this class we wait for the bus for about an hour, then we curse at the drivers shitty driving.

Anyhow.. I can't help but wonder what Andrea meant by knowing the people around me before choosing my friends...

At the time I just gave her a smile and calmly told her "I'm still analyzing my surroundings , I'm not friends with anyone yet.."

She looked me in the eyes and smirked at me, then she said "come sit with us a bit in class" 

I chuckled and said "sorry you're too far in the back for me to sit with you, seriously how can you even see the teacher from back there ? "

After that the bell rang and we went up to class, now after two classes have passed ,I'm still thinking about what she said...

Is she trying to warn me of Sandra and Lila ?

Literally everyone is warning me not to get close to them...

Even a parent once called my mom telling her to stop me from befriending Lila and Sandra.

My mom and her are friends now.

Anyhow Andrea's words could have 2 meanings, either

'we're clearly a better fit for you, so join our group'
Or
'You're hanging around a bad crowd, look again."

I think it could be a mix of both, she's probably inviting me because I'm smart. So she and her friends can cheat from me.

And if she's warning me she's warning me about Lila and Sandra , so I'm gonna put a bit of distance between us just in case...

I'm gonna change my seat and sit next to Janet and Jenny tomorrow.

I'm friends with Janet but I've never spoken to Jenny..

The bell rings interrupting me...

Then I get up and go straight to Janet , and Janet goes straight to wait for her friends at the other class.

As we're both waiting someone bumps into my shoulder... before I even look I know who it is..

Noah Anderson...

As I'm shooting darts at the back of his head a girl comes up to him and holds his hand

"Heyyyyy! Noah can't you wait for me?!"  She says while being dragged by him ..

I focus on the both of them , that's Noah , and that's.... Nicky?

She's in a relationship? And she's being bold about it too.

Last I heard her parents were conservatives ?

Eh whatever it's none of my business..

"Let's go Janet.." I say tired and drained physically and mentally...also I just saw a bastard undeserving of a girlfriend and a naive girl who thinks he's nice walking together...

"Let's go Carla"  she says smiling at me.

We walk her friends to the door , and go sit down on a bench in our school field.

"Hey weren't Nicky's parents conservatives?" I ask her suddenly to break the silence..

"Yes they were and are?" She says like it's the most obvious thing ever

"Then how is she and Noah behaving like that ?" I say curiously.

"Behaving like what ?" She asks oblivious.

"They go home together , hold hands , walk near each other, borrow stuff from each other, if her parents are so conservative, shouldn't she at least try to hide the fact she's in a relationship?"  I say explaining my point of view to Janet.

....

"Pfft..BAHAHAH.." Janet burst out laughing..

I stare at her blankly not getting what's so funny..

"CARLA..They- pffft- they're siblings" she says dying from laughter...

"HOLY SHIT ?!" I say while laughing...
I expected everything except her being his sister...

She's literally so weird and gullible, totally the opposite of her brother..

The both have one thing in common tho..

Sticking to the cool kids no matter what.

"But they don't even look alike or behave like each other ?" I say confused

"They're not identical twins, just twins. Also why would they act similarly?" She asks confused.

"If they're siblings and they live in the same house they should pick up some habits of each other" I say realizing how stupid it sounds out loud.

"Eh whatever, just be careful of both of them" Janet says her face changing from a smile to a frown as she thinks of the twins.

"Eh why ? They both seem stupid to be honest" I say laughing.

"Carla. I'm serious. Nicky looks innocent and stupid , but she can ruin you." She says with a cold face sending shivers down my spine.

"..then what about Noah ?" I ask.

...Janet sighs..

"Back in the day he had a crush on Rose, not just a crush, a literal obsession.." she says.

Rose is Janets well connected friend, the one she hangs out with in the morning
(Rose is one of the two girls mentioned in chapter 2)
she's really pretty so I understand where he's coming from, but I don't get why she's mentioning it...

So I stay quiet edging her to go on.

"He..um..ugh how do I say this.. it got way out of hand okay ?... he did some things, including stalking Rose.." she says trying to find the right words.

"...he did what ? What things did he do Janet ?" I say looking serious. I got chills.

"I'm gonna tell you but promise to keep it a secret!" She says after a lot of consideration.

"..okay !" I say after a lot of consideration.

"He would follow her every where she goes. If she started dating, talking or even just accidentally bumped into a guy , he'd beat them up till they passed out..." she says while I'm super invested...

"he'd accidentally bump into her and stuff so he can 'accidentally' touch her or help her get up..." she says while frowning I frown too in response.

"It went on for a while till she confronted him about it" she says and I sigh a sigh of relief, glad Rose didn't fall for his trap..

Just then the bus arrives and we have to end our conversation..

As I'm walking I plug my headphones in and open my phone, as I'm looking for a song to play , I bump into someone.

As I'm falling their hand grips my waist firmly, so I won't fall ..

I look up at my savior only to find the dreaded platinum blonde hair tickling my face....

"Noah?.." I whisper my breath caught in my throat....
