I woke up alone. I could tell I looked like a mess and so I walked up and went to the bathroom. I brushed through my nappy hair. I put on a maroon colored crop top some high waisted shorts and my black vans. I walked downstairs and was greeted by james.
Hey wanna go to lunch? He asked me.
Yea sure. I replied.
We really need to catch up. He said walking upstairs probably going to comb out that fluffy mess on his head. He came back down in a blue and black flannel and denim jeans with his usual worn out DC's.
Ready? I questioned.
Yea. He said grabbing his car keys.
We left the house and headed for a Burger King.
I'm happy that you agreed to come with me, I didn't think you would after last night. He said with his eyes planted on the road.
We arrived at burger kind and had a great time. We didn't want to go back yet so we just spent the whole day with each other.
We were in the car on the way home when I couldn't stop talking about how great of a day i had. I placed a small kiss on his cheek and thanked him for an amazing day.
I came home to what I thought was an empty house. The guys went out to have a movie night. James and I parted ways as he entered his room and I went to mine. I heard voices coming from aleks' room and I put my ear up to the door to hear better. My face went blank when a girls voice chimed in. I opened the door to find aleks and a blonde girl sitting on the bed snuggled together with aleks.
What is this! I yelled.
Hey just calm down. He said getting up from the bed.
Is this the girl you were gonna dump? The blonde asked.
Uh yes. He said looking at the floor.
What do you mean aleks? I asked about to be put into tears.
I think it's time we broke up. He said looking me in the eyes.
You just said a day ago that you loved me, you ass! I yelled.
James ran in the room because he heard my yelling.
What's going on? James questioned.
He looked at the girl who attached herself to aleks.
James looked at me then aleks' he looked as if he was about to punch aleks in the face.
No don't! I can handle it myself. I said.
Oh look here comes your Prince Charming to save you. Aleks said.
Aleks stop. I said.
What even is this about? I asked.

Well guess what Aleks. Jackson locked me in a windowless room and locked the door about 3 times. I beat the door open with a bed post that I broke off the bed. I broke out of Jacksons house by throwing a chair out the window because he had a thing on his door that let him know when if I escaped. I had a pre-packed duffle bag with $600 dollars that I stole from him. I ran to town and got in a taxi to the airport bought myself a plane ticket to Colorado. When I got there I asked for a quarter and called Jordan on a pay phone. How's that for fighting my own battle. I said turning away from him.
