Chapter 12

The three of them walked into their house, when they heard a loud thump coming from the kitchen. Ella ran in to see what was going on, and when she did, she saw her dad on the floor. "Dad are u ok" Ella asked in a worried tone. "I'm fucking fantastic, now help me up." Her dad snapped back. Ella grabbed his arms, while Cory grabbed his body and they lifted him up. Kevin left the kitchen, he couldn't walk in a straight line, but he managed to make it to the living room before collapsing onto the couch. Ella and Cory put him on his side, just Incase he was sick, while Jordan just stood and watched. "Cheers for the help Jordan." Cory snapped. "Why would I bother helping that drunk piece of shit." Jordan snapped back. Cory grabbed him, shouting "CAUSE HES STILL OUR DAD, WETHER HES AN ABUSIVE PIECE OF SHIT OR NOT" "Cory stop." Ella pleaded, trying to pull him off Jordan, but he flung his elbow back and hit her in the nose. The blood started flowing out of her nose, and she was in agony. "Omg els im so sorry" Cory Said, but Ella ignored him and went into the kitchen, grabbed a cloth and put it on her nose. She then went upstairs, when her phone rang, it was missy

"Missy it's 11pm, whats wrong!" "Nanas dead. I cant Tell anyone, Hayley's at her mates" "I'm omw"

Ella ran downstairs, shoved a pair of trainers on and bolted out the door. Once she got to Missys, she went into the living room, where Missy was sat, sobbing. She sat down next to her and pulled the girl into a hug. "Where is she?" Ella asked. "Upstairs" Missy replied. "Missy, you can't keep her there, you've got to phone the medical centre and report her death" "I can't!! They'll take Hayley away" Missy replied as she began to sob even harder. "Cmon Missy, you have too. They wont take Hayley away, and if they try it, we will make sure your mum comes and gets her back" Ella said. "Ok. Fine" Missy said, and she picked up the phone and reported her nanas death.

The next morning, Hayley came home before school, Ella had slept over to keep Missy company. Missy sat Hayley down and told her the news. "Fuck. I'm uhm im going to school, bye." Hayley said, before bolting out the door. "God I hope she's ok" Missy said. "She will be, she's strong. How are you tho Missy?" Ella asked. "I'll be okay" she replied.
