"FUDGE!!" I yell, picking up my former camera turned pancake. Then I remembered why I dropped it in the first place, my phone! I picked it up off my desk, not even caring who it was "What?" I snapped at whoever it was.
"Well, hello to you too. Gosh, someone woke up on the wrong side of the rose bush this morning." I know that voice.
"Will? Look Will, now is not the best time. I have a photography gig tomorrow morning and you calling just made me drop my camera." I was silent a moment as I studied the remains to see if it would still work. It definitely would.....Not.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. You have another one though right?"
"Ha! Ya I have another lucky camera that my dad had engraved to say 'capture the world'. You're funny, ya know that?" Oopsies!! I hadn't told anyone that before.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Rose! What can I do to make it up to you?" Well no one's really asked me that before.
"Nothing, I'll just reschedule the gig then ask to borrow my friend's camera." I answered dejectedly, her camera sucks.
"Oh, ok then......I GOT IT!!!!" He yelled in my ear.
"Got what?" I asked as the line went dead. Darn it. I rolled my eyes and decided just to go to bed without eating. I crawled into bed and fell asleep just as my phone beeped.

I woke up at 4 in the morning and decided to just stay up. I was about to email the girl I was doing pictures for when I saw my phone. I - being the procrastinator I am - decide to check it instead.

Huh. I opened messages and saw that it was from Will
'Hey Rose. Meet me at the broken road at 4:30 in the morning. DONT BE LATE.'
What the heck? What could be so important that he wanted to see me, a total stranger, at 4:30 in the morning? It was currently 4:13...........shoot. I grabbed my jacket and tiptoed out the back door. Why am I doing this?!
