The Great Lurk Challenge

CHALLENGE 23

"Ghoulrus it's been a week!" We can't keep hiding! We have to save the others!" Dougy screams, as the camera turns itself back on. It looks at Dougy he looks worn and tired, it pans to Ned, who looks at Blanc.

"Dougy's right, this can't be how everything ends! We have to stop your brother!" Ned sides with Dougy. "Airron and Sashly got turned to stone! It's up to the three of us now!"

"I know!" Blanc snaps. "I know, I'm still too weak, he drained my power to make himself stronger...I need to recharge the staff, it should almost be ready," Blanc looks at the staff podium, his rainbow staff standing in it's original spot, rainbow lights coursing through it. They all look at the staff.

"How has Stone Maker not found us?" Ned asks. "Is The Great Lurk Challenge still going?"

"I don't know about the show. I guess it is...the camera is still running. But for Stone Maker not finding us, that's because I put a cloaking spell on us, he can't sense us at all, not until my staff is back to full power," Blanc explains.

"Ghoulrus, where did the staffs come from?" Dougy asks, looking at the stick.

"Well, that is a good question, because, well...I have no idea," Blanc reveals to the final two contestants. He laughs, awkwardly petting his hair poof. "My brother and I found them sitting right there," Blanc looks at the podium...and flashes back to when he and Stone found them.

Dougy looks at the podium himself, it's a giant circle looking stone, with half in the ground and the other half up against the rock behind it. Engravings are written all around the rim of the circle. "What do these say?" Dougy touches one, it begins to shine and the ancient engravings change and become english.

The Staff of Johtin brings great destruction.

The Staff of Eflora brings great wonder.

The Staff of Johtin and The Staff of Eflora are said to hold

The souls of their users.

"Johtin? Eflora? Who are they?" Ned asks Blanc, he notices both Dougy and Ned staring at him. He shrugs and makes a "I don't know" kind of noise. They look at the stone and Ned notices something in the middle, a moss covered bump. He walks over and uses his foot to clean off the moss, it's a red button.

"A button?" Ned asks.

Blanc looks at his two friends, before using his tail to press it. "Ghoulrus!"

"What!"

The entire circle begins to turn, it crackles and screeches as it scraps against the rock; the thing stops moving as soon as the staff of Eflora is now sticking straight out on the rock wall. A click! is heard from the stone podium, and a door opens. On the rock wall. "Whoa!" Blanc says, surprised. "Let's go!" He says grabbing the staff. The three of them enter the strange hallway. Once the last one is in the hall, the door closes itself and on the back are words.

Knock six times

to exit.

They continue down the hallway and come across a room full of pillars and on both sides of it's wall, one side shows a man about in his mid thirties, he looks just like Stone Maker, except he isn't a gargoyle nor does he have wings. He looks like a human, they turn their attention to the other wall, this one shows a woman, she's naked just like the man. They both have black hair, chocolate skin, and the painting depicts both of them with aqua green colored eyes. They notice that both of these people are reaching for something, they're arms reach out towards the next room. "Do you think that those are Johtin and Eflora?" Blanc asks.
