Viaan placed the ice pack back on Ranveer cheek, who grimaced in pain. Rudransh leaned against the door, observing his best friend crumble to the ground. He rolled his eyes at Ranveer's groans.

"What the hell happened?" Aarohi exclaimed as she entered the infirmary.

She knelt and inspected Ranveer's bruises, palpating his cheeks. He groaned in response.

"How did this happen?"

Ranveer was the cricket team's star, and everyone was cheering him on. He had trained for hours and was ready to flaunt his skills. He took a deep breath and strode onto the field. The sun was shining, and the crowd was buzzing with anticipation. He could feel his heart racing as he prepared to bat.

But then, he saw her. She was standing in the stands, with her long, dark hair billowing in the wind. He couldn't take his eyes off her.

As the bowler came running towards him, he tried to concentrate on the game. He swung his bat with all his might, and the ball went soaring. The crowd erupted in cheers, and he felt a surge of pride.

But then, he saw her again. She was standing up. The girl in the Anarkali dress was breathtaking. Her long hair cascaded down her back, and her dusky skin gleamed in the sunlight. Her brown eyes glittered as she laughed with her friends.

The dress itself was a masterpiece. It had to be their dress rehearsal. The vibrant hues and intricate embroidery made her stand out in the crowd. The fabric flowed elegantly around her as she twirled.

then her friends whispered something into her ears and she laughed and he felt like he was in a movie everything fades away, it's just her and nothing else matters.

As he ran towards the other end of the field, he felt a sharp pain in his face. The ball had hit him square in the nose, and he fell to the ground. The crowd gasped in shock, and his teammates rushed to his side. His friends picked him up one hand on his cheek

And among the crowd, she smiled at him and felt a warm sensation in his chest. Maybe getting hit in the face wasn't so bad after all.

" It's just I was distracted" Ranveer mumbled and he rolled their eyes.

" Of course, he was very much distracted," they both said in unison and rolled their eyes.

" I think we should take him home " Aarohi murmured.

"There is no need for that " Ranveer uttered and he groaned loudly as a sharp pain hit his cheek when they dapped the Dettol with cotton on his cheek.
