Anaya stepped inside the classroom, feeling a sense of unease. It was as if last night never happened. She looked around and saw Aarohi and Viaan engrossed in conversation as if nothing had changed... She moved towards the door, keeping her back to the room, and that's when she saw Ranveer and Rudransh on the ground. It was as if everything was the same like nothing at all had happened. Like they all weren't in the police station yesterday like he hadn't beaten a man to death. They all behaved like it was an everyday chore for them. She moved out of the classroom keeping her bag on the desk.
She was rushing to her classroom when she bumped into Saniya in the corridor. "Hey, Anaya! We have practice in the auditorium. Are you coming?" Saniya asked. Anaya felt a sense of relief. Maybe this was what she needed to take her mind off things. "Sure, I'll be there in a minute," she said. Saniya smiled and stood there waiting for her. Anaya quickly moved inside the classroom and grabbed her small bag, which contained her costume. Maybe this was exactly what she needed to forget about everything that had happened.
Anaya smiled at Saniya who stood there waiting for her.
"I sorry, Anaya. Yesterday was a flurry of events, and I didn't have the opportunity to think clearly. The sirens and the ambulance caused me to panic, and I fled to a corner to hide. After they left, I searched for you, thinking you might be in a corner somewhere. But, I was informed that you had left with them. I tried to contact you, but your phone was off. I am sorry for leaving you alone. I feel like a terrible friend," Saniya said with a hint of regret. Anaya smiled, touched by Saniya's concern for her. She had never really had close friends before, and having Saniya by her side felt comforting. Although she wasn't looking for friends when she moved to Redlands, the place offered her much more than she had expected, and she was grateful for that.
" It's okay it wasn't your fault before I could move inches from there The police were already there but Aarohi and her friends Handled everything " she let out explained.

" They are rich people Anaya everything is a piece of cake for them and what happened yesterday wasn't something new for them. Even if that boy went missing suddenly no one could ever know and their family will make sure of that. And no way that boy would have gotten away after laying his finger on Aarohi and it's good that Ranveer took the matter in his hand or else that boy and his entire three generations would have been buried underground" she completed.
" What do you mean?" She questioned.
" Ranveer is so protective about her that he would beat every guy who looked at her with the wrong intention he had done it before and Aarohi's dad is a politician and you know how politicians are. And Aarohi is his only family and do you think he would leave any boy after messing with him? No way! " She completed Anaya closed her eyes trying to proceed with all the information. She licked her dry lips and opened her mouth to speak but words didn't come out of her mouth.
