Third person p.o.v:-

"Kim Min-jeong! What are you doing to her?" The boy asked standing beside the door of the rooftop.

Min-jeong stopped threatening Mirae because of the sudden voice and backed away from Mirae before turning towards the voice.

"What are you doing here? Classes are about to start in less than a minute." Min-jeong informed the lad while picking up her backpack that was on the ground.

"The last time I checked my dad owns this school and so I can roam anywhere I want at anytime." He said while walking towards her.

"Oh ofc the great Sim Jaeyun bragging about his wealth." Min-jeong said while rolling her eyes at him.

"Atleast I've got something to brag about." He fired back at her while rolling his eyes.

"You know what, I can't do this with you so early." Min-jeong said and walked towards the exit.

"It's 1:33 in the afternoon, miss pick me." He laughed at her while Min-jeong just showed him the middle finger on her way out.

"Are you okay? Did she do anything to you?" Jake asked her while checking if she was okay.

"Yeah, whatever I'm fine. Thanks for stopping her from killing me." She said while Jake just chuckled and came closer to her. "Uh what are you trying to do?" She asked with confuson and fear visible on her face. "Don't you like me?" Jake asked without answering her question. "What the fuck are you talking about?" As Jake was coming closer and closer, Mirae stepped on his shoe before running out of the rooftop.

"Ahh that bitch!" Jake screamed in pain.

Mirae got in a resting position as she was breathing very heavily from running down the stairs.

"Why are you panting so much? You good?" Someone walked up to her and gave her a hand to stand up. Mirae looked at the person's face and rejected their hand.

"Your friend is a jerk." She said glaring and left Jay who wore a confused expression.

Jay walked up the stairs to the rooftop. After opening the door, he found Jake picking a bat nearby and about to smash the window.

"Can you not?" Jay spoke up before snatching away the bat from Jake's hand.

"You're so close to getting expelled because of beating Mr. Ahn's son up, do you want to get expelled now?" Jake scoffed at him and grabbed Jay by his collars.

"I can't get expelled, you know and what's it got to you? Don't tell me you're falling for that fucking loser!" Jake sarcastically laughed after Jay got rid off him.

"What? No I'm not." Jay said and stared at the sky blankly.

"Yah! I don't know what's happening to you but snap out of it! She's our toy and you can't be in love with her." Jake shaked him a bit and the rage was visible on Jay's face.

"She's not a toy." Jay mumbled in a low voice.

"What did you say?" Jake looked at him being puzzled.

"I said...SHE'S NOT A FUCKING TOY!" Jay's anger erupted and the next thing you know is, the boys broke out into a fight.

Bruises, scars and rage was visible on their faces. They fought continuously for at least 7 minutes until someone broke the fight.

"Stop, STOP!" They both stopped after hearing the voice.

Sunghoon's p.o.v:-

I was searching for Jay and Jake all over the school when I saw Heeseung talking with Mirae. I made my way to them and Mirae started glaring at me.

"Uh hi?" I awkwardly said.

"Sup?" Heeseung asked and right after he asked that Mirae went to her friends.

"Oh yeah, have you seen Jay and Jake?" I asked after noticing him again.

"Yeah I think they went to the rooftop." 'Oh no, not the rooftop.'  The rooftop is the only place they both fight at. So i hurried my way up there and caught a glance of Mirae staring me down.

After I reached the rooftop, I saw them fighting like their lives depended on it. I broke their fight before they killed each other.

"Stop, STOP!" I screamed at them both and looked at them half glaring.

"Why are you guys so immature? Grow the fuck up!" 

"Weren't you the one who suggested we bet on her?" Jay asked fuming in anger and I immediately understood whom they were talking about.

"You're also the one who agreed." Jake butted in.

"I wasn't talking to you!" Jay once again screamed at Jake.

"Alright stop. We're leaving, tell your dad we have something important to do." I told Jake and we headed to our lockers, got our bag and left for my car.

"Nobody in this car will utter a single word unless we reach my house."

After reaching my house, we went to our basement-hangout spot, we put our bags on a couch and started arguing back and forth.

"Okay. First of all, tell me what's wrong? Why are you guys fighting all of a sudden?" I asked them both hoping for a proper answer.

"So, our lover boy here is falling for the nerd." Jake answered with an expression-less face.

"Didn't I already tell you I'm not?" Jay and Jake started arguing again. I was very shocked after hearing that. 

"But what's with your expression?" Jake asked facing me.

"Why do you look so shocked? You good?" Jay asked.

We sat down on the couch, I took a deep breath and started telling them.

"Actually..don't be mad." I was honestly a bit scared because they were already stressed with this.

"Speak." Jay uttered while staring deeply at me.

"I knew Mirae from the very beginning." I drank a glass of water as I saw their faces turning into a mixture of confusion, betrayal, and...rage.

"What the fuck do you mean, you KNEW HER?" Jake raised his voice and Jay was quick to shut him up.

"Let him speak. What do you mean by that?" Jay turned to me with a much calmer expression.

"I used to be her neighbour and her brother's friend till the age of 13 but after we moved I forgot about both of them." Jay's hand turned into a fist and his expression turned cold.

"You're telling that after we bet on her, insult her?" 

"I didn't know about her until very recently." I felt helpless, sorry and alot of emotions took over me. 

"Unbelievable." Jay spoke before taking his bag and walking out.

"You fucked up real bad, hoon. If something happens with Jay, Heeseung or that nerd, it's your responsibility." Jake too took his bag and before he could walk out the door, I called on him.

"Mirae. Her name is Mirae."
