Third person p.o.v.:-

It was around 8 pm and Mirae was just done with some extra work at school and now she was out of the school walking to her way home.

That is when she saw someone familiar walking in front of her. She realized who it was and walked up to that person.

"Hi."

"Oh? Hey." The person seemed a bit startled by her sudden presence but greeted her back calmly.

"You're not going back from your or Sunghoon's car?" She asked walking along with him.

"No. I didn't see him at school." He lied. He saw Sunghoon at school talking to Mirae, smiling with her.

"Stop lying. I know you did, I saw you." Mirae said without looking at him and just kept on walking.

"I'm not lying, Mirae." He stopped from walking and faced her, which made her face him.

"Look, I don't know what kind of argument happened between you three, but work it out. You should never lose someone you're close to." 

Jay just kept looking at her without saying anything.

"Where were you headed tho? I know this isn't the route you take home." Mirae asked as she continued walking with Jay beside her.

"I was going to a bookstore nearby...wanna join me?"

"A bookstore?! There's a bookstore nearby?" Mirae asked shockingly.

"Yeah...it's been here for a while, let's go?"

At the bookstore:-

"Woah! This place is so pretty!" Mirae looked at the store in amusement right after Jay opened the door.

Jay just chuckled looking at her face and went to the counter desk with Mirae following him like an amazed child.

"Hey, Uncle." Jay said to the man behind the counter who looked like he was in his late 50s.

 "Oh Jay! I didn't know you'd be coming tonight." The man exclaimed.

"Yeah, I just thought of stopping by before heading home." Jay gave the man a subtle but sincere smile, which the man returned.

"That's great! I see you brought company and for once it's not Sunghoon and Jaeyun." The man teasingly said and chuckled.

"Yeah, I thought I'd show her the store." Jay and the man looked at Mirae who was a bit startled.

"Hello, I'm Lee Mirae." She politely bowed and greeted the older man.

"Yes, hi there. Make yourself comfortable and let me know if you guys need anything." The old man just went from there to the snack area.

"Let's go, I'll show you something." Saying that Jay grabbed her hand and went inside a small room.

He turned some lights on and the room had three cozy chairs, fairy lights on the 2 shelves that were filled with books and a small window.

"WOAH! What is this place?" Mirae asked scanning the whole room because the whole room looked straight out of a fantasy.

"My mom spaced and decorated this room when I was young, and since then me and...Sunghoon, Jake have been using this room." Jay looked and sounded a little emotional but managed to keep a small smile.

"Wait wait..your mom?...and you called the man there uncle? What's going on?" Mirae looked at Jay confused.

"He's my uncle, my mom's older brother. He's the owner of this store." Jay chuckled slightly and ran his fingers through his hair.
