Had it not been for Ena, Mafuyu would have went insane after seeing what she convinced herself to be hallucinations of Akito standing around.

It got worse overtime, especially at night after hurting her hand- So bad that Ena had to stay in the same room as Mafuyu to prevent her from harming herself with Akito whispering cryptic messages to her over and over again.

Maybe she just needed to take her medication again but when she tried to, she let out a scream of terror to find a cockroach in the bottle of pills before killing it with a broom then boiling it in scorching hot bleach.
She went insane.

But that didn't stop her from trying to help Ena and herself, she kept fighting back, she has to. The others had done so much for her to stand on her own feat....
"She" will never hunt her ever again. She was never real anyway...

Yet as if her heart still haven't cut the strings, she still yearned to be in her loving arms again, even when she hurt her over and over again. Until she felt empty inside, she doesn't hate her, but she doesn't... she isn't attached to her. She wouldn't..

She's already cut the strings, that's fine, right?

Mafuyu sighed as she sat on her bed, swallowing her pills with the help of water. Feeling the pills go down her throat she sat there, looking down at the ground as she fidgeted. Was Akito okay? She didn't hear much but she just heard how he died... Did... Did he also suffer like this?

She supposes it's not helpful for her own mind to keep dwelling on Ena's little brother, especially at his problems and death. But she didn't forget, that hallucination-

She immediately got on her laptop, having her smart phone that the group got for her on the side of the table as she started to research, she knows she shouldn't but ...

The mouse clicked on the very old document, one that she should have deleted long ago-

" PROJECT SHATTER."

Toya wasn't doing any better as he curled himself on his bed, his hands shaking as he looked at the drawing of Akito. His eyes were so dark, his eyes aren't...

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, then there followed Tsukasa's voice:

"Toya, are you alright? Nene and Emu are here..."

Tsukasa's gentle voice only rang through Toya's ears. He didn't understand most of it as he still tried to process that he was trying to remember Akito from all his dreams- Even when he was never like that. He was never covered in bandages, only small bandaids whenever he got scratches from... Reasons unknown.

"Tsukasa... I don't think I can.."

Toya tried to say, his voice at the verge of cracking as he started to finally face reality, in which he tried so badly to escape. From his paintings ....

To his dreams.

"Oh?"

Tsukasa said. But instead of going away he only knocked louder, louder, and louder-

"Toya come out."

Tsukasa's voice started to morph into a deeper voice, one of an old man-
Like... A father?

"T-tsukasa?!"

Toya jumped as he sat straight on his bed, starting to panic as the knocking started to get harsher and louder, other voices joined in too as the voices started to swirl around his head, he tried to cover his ears, trying to stop the noise-

Something. Something please help him. He started to cry a little as Tsukasa's now demonic voice started to scream at him, he didn't like yelling. He didn't like it. He never...

"TOYA COME OUT ALREADY! DON'T YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY?"

The voice that was trying to Impersonate Tsukasa said, Toya only grabbed his hair harshly, feeling frustrated at the assumption. Of course he loved his family! He'd... He'd do anything just to help the two!

Who the HELL is this?!

"NO!! YOU'RE NOT TSUKASA!"

Toya yelled, standing up even when his legs were shaking as he grabbed the door knob. As the voices started to laugh at him, calling him names before opening the door, about to throw a punch before a hand stopped him from doing so -

Rui?

"Now that's a violent reaction... All I asked was if you were okay."

Rui said, furrowing his eyebrows as he let go of Toya's arm. Though he knew that Toya's punch wouldn't hurt much, he still didn't want to risk it. Toya only widened his eyes as he immediately started to apologize repeatedly, he didn't... Did he? Did he just ...

"You're not doing okay, I know. But it's really getting concerning.."

Rui said, his hand resting on his chin as Toya tried to compose himself. Nene didn't experience this much of a harsh reaction but... She did say she experienced... Hallucinations.

"Are you seeing or hearing things you shouldn't... See or hear, Toya?"

Rui asked as Toya looked at him with the most confused look ever. As if he was about to ask " How do you know ? "

"Toya... I want to help you."

Rui said, though he didn't experience anything remotely close to what Toya was experiencing, he still knew how he felt in some degree. He couldn't speak about his problems in fear of it not being real.

Of course, he doesn't know if that's what truly is happening since Toya has not yet said anything of his problems much.

"But...I can't help you unless you tell me how."

Rui said, putting his hand on Toya's shoulder as Toya broke down, immediately hugging him as he started to ramble about "It isn't real" or how "I can't escape" as Rui tried his best to comfort him- Hugging him in a way that he used to hug Nene whenever she broke down in tears in fear that Emu was in danger. He hoped dearly that Akito wasn't... In any danger.

But whatever it takes, even if it was now his own life- He has to help.

He doesn't want the singers to abduct people anymore, like Emu, he was determined to reach his goal.
They've done enough, anyway.
