The One True Hero

CHAPTER 3

Lee's POV
Lee's blood momentarily turned to ice as Stampy spoke. Really? He couldn't help thinking, but even as he inwardly facepalmed, he knew it was the right choice.

Target smiled.
"There will be six challenges, not including your entrance into the Trial Arena." Lee looked quickly around, that was one for each of them, plus one "For each challenge, you will need to find an object. The object you will need to find will be written in a book attached to the previous item. Once you have found the first five items" that was one for each of them Lee notes "there will be a final item, which Stampy, and Stampy alone must touch. This will signify the end of the trials."

"Right, when can we go?" yelled Lee, and Target turned slowly to him.
"Not yet. There are rules which apply. Failure to uphold them will result in the powers instantly passing to me, should you have agreed to them. To take part in the trials, you must not make contact with anyone outside of this world. Some of your newer friends

(I know I said I wouldn't include you guys but I can't help it, I gotta!)

Might be joining you, depending in how well you're doing, but don't hope for a rescue. They cannot teleport inside this world.

Secondly, it is perfectly within my rights to try to throw something at you that will kill you. You have to prove yourself to be the one true hero.

And finally, when one of you dies" Lee shivered "Please, don't try to carry the body with you. It'll start to stink after a while."

Lee started wondering how long they'd be in there, but snapped himself out of it.

"What if we don't agree to take part in your stupid trials? Why should we?" He shouted.
"Because you have no choice?"

He just had to say something logical like that. Lee sighed, then looked to Stampy, who nodded an agreement, and called "Fine. We're in."
