Summer is almost over

Dear Art Deco,

From those blinding lights, messy hair, the chemical substance that used to be held by her every little step that she takes there's blood everywhere, blood on her skin, city lights, busy streets, high heels on, being euphoric, mascara tears, red lipstick, party monster, a wild girl. To a one who's now a summer girl.

To a one who's always at the beach painting the same scenario all over again.The exquisite angelic face, the ocean blue eyes that focuses on the white canva board stained by so many colors that you could think of. She came straight out of a poetry, so fragile yet written perfectly. She smelled like lily of the valley. Her hands used to be stained with blood but instead of blood, it was now stained with acrylic paint.

She changed ever since the salt air befriended her. The sand as to invariably on her skin. Lilies of the valley, flowers, salt air, sand, water, beach, shells, painting, blood, sun, swim, colors, clouds, scenery, nature. It was disparate from the city lights and busy streets of new york. She was finally at peace. Until tragedy strikes her.

She painted herself in shades of red, buried the one that she used to be. Then she realized that the flowers didn't come for her to bloom. The flowers came for her to rot. How ironic. From an art deco to now, a rotting art.
