I scowl waking past him, taking my seat at the back of the room.
What person knows that stuff about a girl they've just met.
Half way through the lesson he turns around to me and smirks. I blatantly give him a death glare and carry on with my work. When the bell goes I rush out that classroom like never before.
"Hey Lil" the boy smiles in an irritatingly smug way.
"What?" I groan picking up my pace.
"Where you goin'?"
"To lunch." I speak.
"Great. I'll join ya." He beams. I stop deadly in my track and turn to face him.
"Look, what the hell is wrong with you. You seem to know everything about me, yet won't even tell me your name. Then you expect to come sit with me and my friends at lunch." I yell yet in a slight whisper.
"Oh come on. I'm sure your friends won't mind." He claims walking confidently into the canteen. Following not far behind, I see him already by my group of six, a snide look across his face as he sits on the seat opposite mine.... As if he knew that's where I sit...
"Hi guys." I sigh, cautiously taking my place at the table.
"Hey Lil. Why you so down in the dumps today?" Sophia asks sweetly. I frown at the mysterious boy and simply elaborate on the point of me being 'down.'
"Just a little tired. Can't wait to get home.'
"We have drama next, that's always fun." Jasmine gleams as she leans her head on Liam's shoulder.
"What are you In mate?" Harry hesitantly asks 'mysterious boy.'
"I believe I'm in drama too." He grins.
"Of course you are." I mutter.
"What was that Lily?" He pesters.
"Nothing. I'm going to get food. And YOU stay here." I proclaim, walking to the long line that awaits before the food. I stand patiently, and finally get to the front of the Queue.
"What would you like dear?" A 'mid day assistant' (as they call themselves) requests.
"Just some curry and a brownie please." I smile taking a knife and fork from beside me and placing it on my blue plastic tray. Shortly after she sets down the bowl and bread and I walk back to my table.********************************************
Walking into the classroom, Mrs Peterson greets us and we grab chairs to join the forming circle. Me, Jas and Soph sit in our usual spot, chairs practically touching. But of course, the new boy has to ruin our little 'click'. I groan and face him asking "and what is it you want?"
"Just sitting with some friends." He stares coldly.
"Yeah, he's fine there." Sophia interposes. Before I could input my argument, miss starts explaining the lesson plan.
"Right, you know you have your theatre of education performances in 5 weeks, you can just start practising." She informs, turning back to the prehistoric computer sat on her old wooden desk.
"You can join us!" Jasmine squels, talking to the boy seated beside me who is paying no attention what so ever. I roll my eyes making sure he can see.
"Er yeah cool." He says, snapping out of his day dream. "What is it we're doing?"
"Yeah what is it we're doing?" I recite his words, looking at Sophia.
"Ok so, I had the idea we could kind of do it about, like, how they should always be themselves and not be afraid to stand out." She announces.
"Miss. What year group is this being performed too?" I mention as our teacher walks close to us, her cloggy boots stomping on the black floor.
"Reception. So have good morals in there." She smiles, going over to another group.
"Lily, aren't your two twin sisters in reception?" Mystery boy breathes, smirking. Oh how I wanted to throttle him and shake that knowledge he some how gained from his system.
"Oh yeah, Alicia and Alana." Jasmine remembers. "How'd you know?"
"Oh, she told me." He fibs.
Did I in hell.
I just nod unsure.
"Right." Sophia pauses. "Back to my idea. We could possibly have like one of us is a princess but the other three are like superheroes or something. Obviously the princess stands out from the others, so she fights with her conscience-weather to change herself to fit in, or find her own group where she can be herself."
"It's a good idea, but won't we need more people, we need two extras to be the good and bad side of the conscience and then two people for the other Disney princesses who she fits in with." Jasmine points out.
"Nate, Caspar, Calum and Poppy, will you be in ours please, we need four more people and your all one group." I ask politely.
"Sure." Calum smiles at me, heading over. Once we explain the plan we all have our parts. 'New boy', Poppy and Nate were the group of people, who our princess wanted to fit in with, superheroes, NB as superman, Nate as batman and Poppy as Wonder Woman. Sophia was the main princess, she was playing Snow White. She completely disagreed with the idea but we wanted to go for the princess that matches best with her looks. Calum was the good conscience saying to be herself, and join a group who accepts her-for her. Caspar was the opposite conscience telling her to change and join the 'popular group.' And finally me and Jas were the other princesses. I was Belle and Jasmine was - Jasmine, even though they look nothing alike, she insisted as it 'is her name.'A/n
