Star-Gazing

Lucas and Max were sitting on the roof of their school, gazing out at the stars above. It was a peaceful night, with only the distant hum of cars and crickets chirping in the background. They had snuck out of their homes to meet up, wanting to escape the chaos of their daily lives for a little while.

As they sat there in silence, Max couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort in Lucas' presence. They had been friends for a while now, but something about the way he looked up at the sky with her made her feel like they were the only two people in the world.

Finally, Lucas spoke up. "You know, I used to come up here all the time when I was a kid. My dad would take me up here to stargaze."

Max smiled. "Really? I never knew that."

"Yeah," Lucas continued, "he used to tell me all these crazy stories about the constellations. Like how Orion was a great hunter, and how the Big Dipper was actually a bear."

Max laughed. "Your dad sounds cool."

"He was," Lucas said, a hint of sadness in his voice. "But he's not around much anymore."

Max placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, Lucas."

He shrugged. "It's okay. I've got other things to focus on now."

"Like what?"

Lucas turned to her, his eyes sparkling in the moonlight. "Like saving the world from demogorgons and other crazy shit."

Max grinned. "Right. I almost forgot about that."

They sat in silence once again, both lost in their own thoughts. But as they sat there, Max couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the friendship she had with Lucas. In a world full of monsters and danger, he was someone she could always count on to be there for her.

And as they looked up at the stars, Max knew that no matter what happened in the future, she and Lucas would always have each other's backs.

This one is not as long as the others but I thought this idea could be good.
Have a great day
