I woke up in a panic as I didn't feel Lia next to me anymore. I looked around, searching for her, and found her and Damien snuggled up next to me. A wave of relief washed over me and I relaxed back into the bed.
My movements probably woke them up because I heart soft grunts next to me. A smile crept its way on my face as both of them looked at me like they were ready to kill me.
I raised my hands in surrender. "You woke me uuuuup" Lia whined as she snuggled deeper into Damiens chest. A low chuckle escaped his lips as he looked lovingly at her.
After some more snuggling we decided to get ready for the day. My phone began to rang. I picked it up and put in on speaker so Lia and Damien could hear.
Me: Hey Noah, what's up?
Noah: Hey Guys. I need you tonight. There's a mission waiting for you.
Amelia: How did you know we are here?
Noah: I know you guys, you are always together.
We talked some more before I hung up.
As we reached the kitchen, Lia's family already waited for us. Their conversation died down as we entered.
The tension in the room could be cur with a knife. Damien and I awkwardly sat down next to Lia. She looked around the room with her usual emotionless expression and dead eyes.
Andrei cleared his throat to get her attention before he said "Are you alright? What happened yesterday?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.
"Nothing. I'm fine." Lia stated coldly, never breaking eye contact with her oldest brother. He nodded defeatedly, ignoring the grunts of protests from his brothers. The breakfast continued, the awkward tension never leaving the room. Lia broke the silence as she informed her brothers that she would stay at our place for the night.
They protested but eventually gave in as they realized that she isn't in the mood for discussions.
We left after Lia packed everything she needed for the mission and headed to Noah's place.
Noah already waited for us at his fighting club. We filled us in on the information about today's target and we came up with an easy plan because the client just wanted him dead. We didn't ask questions because they always pay good money.
Lia was tensed all day long. I really was worried about her. I was about to tell her that she should just rest today and that Damien and I will finish the mission but one look from her as she probably figured out what I was about to say, ended my thought.
She finally managed to get away from those bastards but still they find a way to ruin her life. I'm worried that he keeps his word and tries to drag her back to that hell hole.

We finishedthe mission without any slip ups. During the mission Lia managed to relax a bit but as soon as we walked through the front door she was again tensed and deep in thought.
We cleaned ourselves and decided that we would end the day with a movie night and some drinks.

Since I woke up when Jay started to move around the whole day was just hell. I don't know why but since the text message last night I felt like I was being watched.
I was so overwhelmed that it was nearly unbearable. I know that Jay and Damien worried about me, now more than ever but I didn't want to be treated like I was seconds away from breaking.
I know my little ourburst during breakfast was wrong because my brothers didn't know what was going on but I just couldn't handle with the looks they gave me.
I'm currently sitting in the living room next to Damien and Jay while we watch some weird movie.
My phone vibrated in my pocket and I tensed at the thought that it might be him. Jay immediately paused the movie as both of them looked at me with a worried expression. I checked my phone. It was only Mateo asking if I was alright and when I would be back home.
I let out a relieved sigh and answered that I was alright and that I would probably be back tomorrow morning.
I showed them the message and we continued with the movie until all of us fell asleep on the sofa before the movie even finished.
