Chapter 2: Brand New Allies

Uzi slowly woke up and noticed Lia laying next to her in the bed, which although it startled the purple haired worker drone also made her happy to have the younger drone with her again.

She was about to go back to sleep when she heard someone knock on the door, waking up Lia and startling Uzi.

Uzi: Who's there!?

The bedroom door opened, and Lizzy stepped through the doorway.

Lizzy: Hey you two, sorry if i woke you up but Thad wanted me to come get you so he could show you around the colony.

Uzi looked at her and thought for a second before responding.

Uzi: Sure.....but give me and Lia a second to get ready, tell Thad we'll be there soon.

Lizzy: Alright, see ya.

Lizzy walked out of the bedroom as Lia got out of the bed, Uzi following suit as the both of them got changed into their regular outfits.

The two of them walked out of the room after getting changed and walked towards Thad's office.

Lia: I've never been part of a colony before.....I'm so excited to see who we're going to meet today on our tour!

Uzi: Well, we'll see once the tour actually starts Lia.

Eventually the two drones arrived at Thad's office, Uzi knocked on the door and waited for Thad to respond.

Thad: You can come in.

Uzi and Lia walked through the office door, and greeting them was Thad who was sitting in his chair in a rather laid back demeanor.

Thad: Hey you two, I assume Lizzy brought you here for the tour right?

Uzi: Yep.

Thad: Alright, perfect! Follow me, I'll show you around the colony.

Thad got out of his chair and motioned for Uzi and Lia to follow him, which they promptly did.

Walking through the halls they eventually came across a door leading to what appeared to be an armory, stepping through the door the 3 workers saw an adult female worker with dark green eyes, slightly charred black hair and an ash-ridden blacksmith outfit moving around the various weapons.

Thad: Hey Aliza! How's that sorting coming along?

The drone turned around after hearing Thad's voice.

Aliza: Hey Thad! It's going good, oooh and who are these two newbies!?

Alize spoke with a german accent which Uzi noticed rather quickly.

Uzi: Uh....I'm Uzi and this is Lia.

Aliza: A pleasure to meet you Uzi and Lia. Hey Bolton! We got new visitors to the armory!

Another worker drone emerged from a door on the right side of the room, this one appeared to be a male wearing a similar outfit to Aliza, his hair was also similar to hers but was shorter and slightly less charred, his eyes also appeared to be dark orange instead of dark green.

Bolton: Oh great, more people to make weapons for.....

Aliza: Oh don't be so down in the dumps, you'll be fine.

Aliza turned back to Uzi.

Aliza: Sorry about him, that's my twin brother Bolton....he's a bit of a downer but he's pretty nice once you get to know him.
