Hello Sister Burton,
Hope all is well and the MTC life is good.
I remember the time there was great being around so many other like minded people. The spirit was very strong there and I learned a lot about presenting the gospel to others. Sharing the message of the restoration is done two by two as a team. As a servant of The Lord, He will always make right what may seem out of sequence.
One can't hide from The Lord! :)
I miss you and miss you some more so let's get that out of the way. :) Don't want to spend time on that but know this Gussy, I spoke to the wind and peace to my soul was received as the whispering of the earth confirmed to me that you are where you should be, but I still cried. :)
You're an incredible person. A daughter of Lamanite decent and one who walks with purpose. I say, "Ask and it will be granted unto you. Believe and your eyes will be opened.
Preach and the follower will listen!"
I'll tell you a secret Sister Burton; only a secret because of the unbelief or short sidedness of other's, this is one of those time's in your life where you take these precious moments [[literally]] each day! What this means is that you are there as a calling accepted to represent
The Saviour. You cry out with a loud voice repentance. You testify of eternal truths and baptism. You witness to all as one with authority of the importance of the Holy Ghost. As an example with love you place them on a journey of enduring to the end.
Have faith and confidence in your calling.
A surety of these things are a must to succeed in this work of saving souls. You then will build courage as you are molded into the woman you are to become. Experience upon experience will be your classroom as you navigate through that large and spacious building. You must go about the work swiftly. Never allow idle time or discouragement to disconnect you from the
tree of life. No filthy river nor gulf will separate you from finding those that are prepared to be taught & in some cases reminded, of the covenant path.
When I served, I saw where we needed to go.
I knew the people that we taught. I spoke with the spirit and heard his voice guide me. I was comforted and blessed from the heavens, strength beyond that of my own or of this world
I received. No other power is there than of creation and successfully bringing lost souls back to the iron rod. You say to them as you place there hand and they grip the rod, "Now, don't let go!"
The sword of truth and righteousness is upon the people of this land where so much has been given and yet so much is expected. You are called for a season to Ohio to labor in that vineyard.
What an incredible time in the history of the world to serve. The book of life is writing your story Gussy. Oh how my joy is full for you to testify of the blessings Heavenly Father has for all His faithful children.
Love you Sister Burton. I am with you always!
Always........ always..., always, and forever!!!
