Ochako Uraraka sat listlessly in her dorm room, leaned over a desk. She was supposed to be brainstorming improvements for her hero suit, a request from U.A.'s principal, Nezu. Probably because of the increase in crime, specifically villains. He'd asked everyone to think about ways to keep themselves safer during an attack, which included the tiresome act of blueprint drawing and feature planning for a new hero suit. That brought Ochako to where she was now, hunched over her desk at 5pm on a Saturday, scribbling some idea that'd she'd never consider again. She didn't believe her suit could help her anymore than it did. Except maybe some extra padding here and there, for when the fights got a little too violent. But other than that, her biggest concern was her quirk not being strong enough. Negating gravity was impressive and relatively powerful, but additions to her suit could make it heavier. If it got too heavy, she'd have trouble canceling it's gravity to make herself fly.
She leaned back in her chair, closing her eyes. A knock on her door startled her, almost causing her to fall onto the ground.
"Coming!"
Ochako opened the door, and was surprised to see Mr. Aizawa standing outside of it. "Me and the other pro-heroes have something urgent to discuss with you." He said, stepping back and gesturing down the dormitory's hall.
"Oh, uh." Ochako shifted nervously. "Okay." She turned off her bedroom light and shut the door, following Mr. Aizawa back towards the main building. Her heart raced in her chest, and Ochako was sure it might burst. What did she do to get an audience with not just one, but multiple pro-heroes? All at once? And what was so urgent that they needed to contact her on a Saturday evening? It couldn't wait until school on Monday?
She followed behind her homeroom teacher absently, her mind consumed by thoughts that sped by all to quick to decipher them. She wasn't a model student by any means, but she was trying her best! They weren't kicking her out, right? She wouldn't need to meet with a group of pros if that were the case. Was it about the recent spike of organized crime? What did she have to do with that? Did they think she was working against U.A.? That would surely explain the gathering of several-
"We're here." Mr. Aizawa said blankly. He sighed as he looked back at Ochako, who had snapped out of her daze. Opening the door in front of him, Aizawa gestured for her to enter.
The room had a different air about it, a different feeling. Probably because of the four pro-heroes gathered inside. Aizawa came in behind Ochako, making it five.
"Uraraka Ochako, right?" Midnight asked, looking up from the table. She had several records splayed in front of her, two of them marked with Ochako's school picture in the top corner.
"Uh, yes." She nodded lightly, trying to read the files upside down. She made out the words Juvenile Record, before Midnight shut the vanilla folder and pushed it to the side. She was nineteen, her juvenile record was sealed. Were they running a background check on her?
"We need to ask you some questions." Aizawa said from behind Ochako. He walked to the table, taking a seat between Hawks and Present Mic.
"Do you have any ties to the League of Villains?" Present Mic asked bluntly. He was spinning a pencil between his fingers carelessly, causing it to fall. The pencil hitting the table was the only noise in the room, other than Ochako's pounding heart. What did he mean? They really suspected her?!
"So?" Hawks asked, raising an eyebrow suspiciously. "You don't, right?"
"No! No, of course not.. I was just caught off guard by your question." She rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "What is this about?"
"We need someone to infiltrate the League of Villains." All Might said. He had been sitting silently since Ochako entered the room. If not for his intimidating size, she wouldn't have known he was there. "A pro-hero wouldn't be welcomed there. We need to send a hero-in-training. Someone who might realistically betray U.A."
