The light of dawn seeped into my room. I rubbed my bleary eyes and walked to the window. There was a pearly glow in the sky. As soon as I opened the window the cool morning breeze entered my room, it caressed my face and my open hair.
What a beautiful morning it is. I sipped my coffee and went to the bathroom to get ready.
I took a cold shower and dressed myself into a beautiful green dress with a dupatta, as this is Roohi's mehndi ceremony.

Here I'm in the garden area where all the preparations for Roohi and Rajat's mehndi were done. I went to Roohi's room to check if she is ready or not. She was getting ready, wearing a beautiful green lengha according to the theme.
"You look amazing" ....... She said looking at me.
"You, you too....you are looking like a doll my dear." i said in reply.
Frankly speaking I was speechless seeing my best friend getting ready for her mehndi. It is a little hard for me to accept that we are now grown up and have to part our ways.
With a smile on my face and tears in my eyes I hugged her lightly. Then we had a small chit chat and stepped towards the garden area.
