Chapter III • The Sound Of The Calling

"My lady, your gown is ready for tonight. Your chamber has your stiletto heels."

She was shown in the dress that she would be donning. Speechless but awestruck, Allura stared at the gorgeous yet understated royal blue sequin off-shoulder gown with long-back chiffon lace. When the clothing was given to her, she admired it for a while. Fiona moved backward before bowing to Allura. "My lady, I'll be outside waiting for you; I'll give you some space.".

Slowly, Allura put it on. She then turned to her oval-shaped Gothic mirror and admired her beauty. She had never worn a dress quite like this one. After wearing the gown, she proceeded to braid her hair and form it into a bun. She put a silver-colored clip that looks like waves of water on top of her bun. While looking in the mirror, she realized she had a small scratch behind her ear. It may be because of what happened in the Reagony Mountains. It hurts a little, even though her body is fine now. She started to wonder about the magic that healed her and why the beast suddenly got scared and ran away. "I never thought that mountain would become extremely dangerous to be on." When I was still little, not a single beast was on the mountain. The mountain is peaceful and lively.", She sighed and went to a box where her heels were. "Never mind, I should be worrying about the banquet tonight. How I wish I wouldn't be socializing with people. I just want to stay inside my room and admire the full moon,", she murmured in frustration.

She rushed to the door and almost opened the knob when she remembered that something was missing. "I almost forgot to wear my sapphire necklace.", She quickly went to one of her books and chose a specific book. Well, it's not a book; instead, it's a secret necklace holder where her sapphire necklace is kept. But as she opens the book, the necklace is there with a folded note beside it. Curious, she slowly took out the note and opened it, but someone started to knock on the door. "My lady, everyone is waiting for your arrival; are you done preparing?", Fiona said politely as she waited for Allura to come outside. "I'll be there in a minute", Allura set aside the note and quickly put on her sapphire necklace. She rushed to the door and opened it. "My Lady, you look dazzling as ever!", Fiona admired her, a childhood friend. "Oh, Fiona, you don't have to be formal with me. We've been the best of friends for so long. Please address me as Allura,", Allura said while holding both of Fiona's hands. "Alright, Allura, I will. But when I'm with your father, I have to address you formally,", Fiona requested. "Understood, now let's go downstairs, shall we?", Allura said with a smile on her face. She's very comfortable whenever Fiona is by her side. They are always there for each other through the ups and downs. Their friendship is bound to be inseparable.

Families from different kingdoms are all here to celebrate the strong alliance with the Kingdom of Ezquiria. Each kingdom sat at its designated tables, and they were all just waiting for the banquet to start. They are amazed by the shimmering halo crystals floating in the air and the elegant decorations inside. It is indeed such a beautiful banquet. As the clock struck eight, everyone stood up to pay respect to the King of Ezquiria, King Eric. The King slowly walks down the aisle while waving to other rulers. As he got on stage, he smiled softly at everyone. "I am very delighted to see everyone here. I sincerely appreciate the respect and love you gave to our kingdom. We are all gathered here to not just celebrate our longtime friendship with each other but to also give gratitude to our ancestors who established the Land of Mimosa. We are deeply grateful to the spirits of this land for being with us on this occasion. Now, let the banquet begin!", Everyone cheered and danced as the music started. They enjoyed dancing along with the music. It's definitely an honor to be invited to this glorious yet fun occasion.

Laughter and smiles filled the room. Meanwhile, Allura was hiding behind a stone pillar. She doesn't want to show herself to them. Fear overpowered her; she's scared of what people might say. No one inside the room recognized her due to the unfamiliar face she has. Ever since she was a child, she has been reluctant to show herself. "Fascinating; they seem so delighted. How I wish I could be like them, enjoying every single moment they have.", She said to herself, "No one needs me here; I should leave the night for them.". As she stepped back, she bumped into someone.
