Chapter 8

Rain, Ceris and Izuku were currently walking through the corridors of the castle to Patrick's private office. His office was located on the top floor of the castle, so during this time Ceris and Rain managed to answer all the questions that Izuku asked in the hospital, but we will not concentrate on this. Izuku, to be honest, was a little nervous, because according to Reina's stories after the battle in the village, the soldiers who fought there were scared out of their wits by Izuku's strength and then told the whole Frostborn everything that is known about him and of course only by their observations. And... well, I think you already know that Frostborn is now divided. But Patrick's position in this situation so far unknown. And why he called Izuku to talk, Rain also did not know. Izuku was worried about that.

"Don't worry Izuku. " Ceris said, catching Izuku. As she interestingly guessed, Izuku was very interested.- "I'll protect you anyway." Ceris said, looking straight into Izuku's eyes and forcing him to cover his face with his hands in embarrassment.

"That's it. Izuku we have come." -Rain said and now they had spruce doors leading to the office of the one for whom they had come. -"However, Patrick wants to talk to Izuku alone without prying eyes and ears." - Rain said, causing Ceris to fall into a stupor.

"Why is that so?"- Ceris said with displeasure. Rain replied:

"Unfortunately, I don't know myself."
Ceris was about to protest after these words, but Izuku stopped her by touching her shoulder and saying:

"Ceris... I don't think that stubbornness now he will be able to help in any way." - Izuku said in a slightly uncertain voice. - "You'd better wait. I appreciate your help, but right now I'd rather solve the problem alone. Izuku said in a serious tone, but smiled and said:

"I... am not sure, but I hope that I can come to an agreement with Patrick," Izuku said, and now it was Ceris's turn to blush, be embarrassed and cover her face with her hands. After these words Izuku reluctantly went to the door of Patrick's office and with the same reluctance and with shaking hands touched the door handles and pulled down opened the door. When he reluctantly entered the office, he could see Patrick who was on the opposite side from Izuku and slowly walked in, closed the doors, leaving a nervous and flushed Ceris and a worried Rain, who was surprised by Ceris' embarrassment. Yeah, Ceris covered her face with her hands, but Rain was curious and not stupid.

Izuku could describe our Ruler Frostborn 's office like this:
There were bookshelves on the left side of Izuku. Probably designed to distract for rest and to escape from the problems that like anvils fell heavily on Patrick's head and shoulders. And even if he solved one problem, suddenly at the most inconvenient moment another one appeared. And so every day. Problems seemed to appear like snowflakes one after another. That's why books were needed to get away from problems at least for a while. But Izuku didn't want to know what he was reading.

On the right side of Izuku there was a rack for armor in which there was only a helmet as well as his spears. And on its sides hung the banners of Frostborn. And on their sides hung shelves with flowers.

Well, in the front Patrick, which was at the end of the opposite side from Izuku there was a window three blocks high and seven blocks long. Behind Patrick there was a table with a map and pots of flowers, and behind this table there was a chair apparently specially prepared for Izuku.

Patrick noticed how someone came into his office and turned around and said:

"You are Izuku, aren't you? Patrick asked, surprising Izuku.

"How are you-"

"I personally sent Rain to check on you whether you're awake or not. If so, I would like him to also check if you can walk or not. Who else do you think goes with Rain after he was sent after you, besides you? " - Patrick explained, sitting down on the chair at the back, which was next to him. - "Although, when Rain had already left, I thought it was stupid to ask. As it is possible to walk when you have just regained consciousness, so also with newly restored limbs. That's why I was surprised when I saw Rain, Ceris and you walking and standing on two legs outside the window. Although at first I just assumed that it was you " - said Patrick. - "Okay, sit down. The conversation will be short, I don't think you should worry."

After these words, Izuku sat down on a chair with not much confidence. Swallowing and nervous Izuku said:

"Mr. Patrick... me- "

"I trust you, don't be nervous. Patrick interrupted, surprising Izuka. - "Since Ceris not only apparently trusts you, but also as if those are dear to her, I think you're a good person. Although the fact that you are a teenager and at the same time you have destructive power... I didn't know how to react when Ceris said you were a teenager. " - Patrick said with a little incredulity. - "But you must earn trust in front of the Frostborn soldiers. Even the words of the last Matriarch of the End will not scare away their fear, and perhaps this will only increase their distrust not only of you, but also of Rain, Ceris, and even me. " - Patrick said, still looking at Izuku. - "The soldiers are scared, you can't blame them for that. Each of us is afraid of something in life and it will not be possible to avoid it forever. " Patrick said, already looking at the table. "You know what I'm talking about, right? - Patrick asked, looking at Izuku again. Izuku , looking at the table with saddened eyes , said:

"I have to hide my identity and strength while in Frostborn, and in exchange you let me live in it. Izuku said, looking at the table. Patrick, after these words, was stunned by Izuku's guesswork, but after being in this state for a short time, he said:

"Mm, yes, that's what I meant. " Patrick said. "I will give you the opportunity to hide in Frostborn Castle or if you want to merge among ordinary people. If you really want to hide something, then you need to hide it in the most visible place. Or at least as long as possible. " -  Patrick said, getting up from his chair. "If the army of Hell attacks us, then you can use your power, but after the battle, hide in an unknown direction. After that, he must return to Frostborn Castle, but quietly and unnoticed. " - Patrick said, walking up to Izuk and holding out his hand to him. - "Agreed? "

"Agreed." -  Izuku replied, shaking Sir Patrick's hand.

"But why was Izuku treated like this? " - Rain asked. While Izuku was in Patrick's office, Rain decided to ask about Deku's world and was in the same state as Ceris was when she herself heard about Izuku's world. 

"Apparently because this so-called "Bakugo" believed that if Izuku is without quirks, it means that he is useless and unnecessary to anyone. And so this jerk also convinced others of this. " - Ceris replied angrily, clasping her hands.  Just at that moment, the door leading to Patrick's office opened and Izuku and the delighted Ceris instantly teleported in front of Izuku. 

"Izuku! How did everything go?" -  Ceris asked worriedly and Izuku , frightened of the matriarch Enda , first moving away from fright and closing the door , said:

"Mmm, let's talk about this not here, okay? "
