The old lady scribbled on a piece of paper. Handing the paper and a key to the two adults, she said, "This is the address and the door key."
Taking it, Jake replied, "Thank you. Here's your payment." He handed the old lady $16,000. "I'll pay the contractors their money when they arrive."
"Okay, I hope you enjoy your time in Twinbrook." The old lady answered, waving the adults goodbye.
Getting into the car, Kirstien asked, "What does it say?"
"39 Sweetwater Loop.....Suburban Temple? What does that mean?" Jake asked.
"Maybe it's how they identify the houses, instead of just a bunch of addresses."
"Maybe.......Kacey, is Connor okay?" Jake called.
"Yeah. He's sleeping. Are we going home, yet?!" Kasey screeched.
Connor's cries sounded from the backseat.
Kirstien sighed. "Yes, baby. We're nearly there. Now sit down and buckle up, please."
"Okay......Where's daddy?" Kasey asked.
Kirstien gasped, not answering.

After driving around town for hours, Jake finally found the road marked "Sweetwater Loop". The road was circle-shaped and had houses all along the street. One of the houses had a sign driven into the ground that read "39". Jake parked in the driveway.
"We're finally here!!" Kasey yelled, jumping out of the car.
"Yes we are." Jake said, picking up Connor from the seat. "Let's go see what we're living with."
Jake unlocked the door and everyone went inside.

Kasey liked exploring the new environment, though there wasn't much to offer. There were two small bedrooms and one bathroom on the other side of the house. The kitchen was outdated and the living room had an old couch and a bulky tv. The only good part about the whole house was that there was a small table with three chairs. Perfect for family meals.
After everyone was done exploring, the contractors pulled into the driveway. The driver stuck his head out of the door.
"Are you the Springstons?" He called over the loud engine of the truck.
"Yes. Are you going to make our house better?" Kirstien called back.
Turning off the truck and jumping out, the man said, "That's what we're here to do." Gesturing for his partner, he said, "This is my sister and partner-in-crime, Kylie. I'm Kyle. We're the Burmens."
"Well it's nice to meet you, Burmens." Jake said, holding out his free hand; he was still holding Connor.
Kyle stepped forward and shook it with a firm handshake.

As the contractors worked, Jake brought the kids to the new local playground called the Twinbrook Recreational Park. While the kids were playing, Kirstein went to the Little Corsican Bistro in town. She got a job as a Kitchen Scullion. She wrote down the work days, hours, and how much it payed.
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Hours: 3:00pm-9:00pm
Pay: $25/hourAfter she was done, she met some people walking down the street, but not anyone who was too interesting to her. Maybe they could be friends. Kirstein went to the park in a taxi. They were only renting the sloppy jaloppy, so when they arrived they had to return it to the local car-renting building. From now until they got their own car, they would be walking, biking, or taking the taxi.
When Kirstein got to the park, she saw that Kasey was playing on the small playground set while Connor was playing on the spring-toys. Jake was playing and helping with Connor. Kirstien took over Connor, seeing that Jake was eying that soccer net. As soon as Kirstein took him, Jake was running to the net. On his way, he asked a local, Silver Racket to have a shootout. Kirstein recognized her from when she was meeting people earlier. She wished she could be that charismatic, but ever since Blake's death she hasn't really been in the mood for meeting people.
Connor's cries interrupted her thoughts. She knew why he was crying as soon as she smelled it. He needed a diaper change. She picked him up and called to Kasey. "It's time to go, sweetie!" Kasey came running as soon as she heard her. Jake said goodbye to Silver and ran to Kirstien.
"Hey, I'm going to have to catch up to you guys at the house. I'm going to get a job at the stadium. Silver just told me about it, and I think I'd be perfect for it." He said, still panting from his game.
"Okay, we'll see you there." Kirstien told him, walking to the street with Connor.

Connor took a separate taxi to the Bachelor Stadium. There, he got a job as a Rabid Fan. He wrote down the work days, hours, and how much it payed.
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
Hours: 3:00pm-9:00pm
Pay: $13/hourAfter he was done, he went strait home. By the time he got there, it had begun to rain. He had to run down the driveway in an effort to not get too wet. He stopped on the way to the porch. Connor was sitting in the rain, a puddle forming around him. Jake looked around. The Burmens had left. He guessed that Kirstein had already paid them.
"What are you doing out here, little guy?" Jake said, picking up Connor. He was soaked to the skin. "Let's bring you inside." The smell of hot mac and cheese greeted them as Jake stepped through the door.
They were finally home.
