i expected many thing when i walked through the veil what i didn't expect was falling from the sky, i was fortunate, to make a broom purchase as i summoned it just barely getting on it before being smushed by gravity
"why didn't you warn me i'd be falling from so high" i muttered, as fawkes laughed at my misfortune, as i landed on the ground dismounting my broom while grumbling at the disrespectful phoenix i was quite surprised to be assaulted from the back
"i wondered, where that power i sensed came from" a woman that remined me way to much of delores umbridge said as she took the elder wand from me, let us go goldar, we have what we came for i think
"what about the mage mistress" he asked
"without his focus he is just another human, leave him, he is no threat to us" the woman said impatiently, as she teleported away i got back to my feet summoning the elder wand back to me
"idiot" i muttered as a set of brightly colored spandex wearing people ran up
"are you alright"
"whoever that woman was she is a serious moron" i said
"what do you mean" the pink one asked
"one does not take the focus of another, so easily she should know that, if she is truly a mage like i assume she is" i said as i sheathed the elder wand in my right arm holster, my phoenix wand being in the left
"zordon said to bring him to the command center" blue reminded the group
"right let's go" red said grabbing onto me as the group teleported
"i hate teleportation, i absolutely despise it, why is it all forms of teleportation, feels like crap" i said
"you get used to it" black said
"welcome young mage" the giant floating head said
"ah where's fawkes" i said as i looked around a moment later the phoenix flame warped into the room landing on my shoulder
"i am here, young rider" she replied
"thank you fawkes, right where the hell am i, who the hell are all of you, why the hell did you bring me here" i demanded
"do you have to use the word hell so much" pink asked as i glared towards her, and she flinched, though no one could see it thanks to her helmet
"to answer your questions in order, you are in our command center, they are the power rangers that protect the earth, and as to why you are here, can you not guess" he asked
"my magic" i said
"correct, your power, was like a beacon to anyone who could sense it such as rita and myself, i am zordon, think of me as the mentor and advisor to the rangers"
"falchion" fawkes said i looked to her in confusion
"they wish to hide their identities from you so why don't you do the same, the armor you wore, is known as masked rider falchion" fawkes said i smirked
"falchion" i said
"that can't be your real name" black said
"it's not, however introduce yourselves to me and i will do the same" i said at that they said nothing
"i don't think you can hear my familiar, but she brought up a valid point, why should i tell you who i am when you won't give me the same courtesy" i said
"you are the masked rider, the riders promised us" zordon asked i withdrew the mumeiken in response
"then i welcome you rider, rangers rejoice, someone has come to aid us in our fight against the darkness" zordon said
"what are you talking about" red said
"ever heard of the multiverse theory" i asked
"it exists" blue said excitedly i nodded
"i am the living proof that it does, my sword is even more proof, unfortunately even i don't fully know the mantle i have taken up, so i will leave zordon to explain, and we may all learn something" i said we all looked to zordon
"the morphin grid, is a power that transcends this universe but it plays a much lesser royal in the other universes, in the rider universe, a different form of the power was created as it grew to be as strong if not stronger then the morphin grid itself it was simply known as the rider system" zordon began as i conjured a chair for myself and sat down
"the riders, did not really on teamwork like you all must, instead they were generally only had one or two companions, rarely more, because of this they had to be more powerful to combat the evils they faced" zordon went on
"by what fawkes have told me the riders have an overall leader, he is known as the king of all riders, zi-o, he had promised the morphin grid that a rider would be sent to aid you rangers in your fight against the darkness of this universe which is just as powerful as the darkness in theirs, but riders can literally make new more powerful forms to overcome their challenges rangers don't really have that advantage, so a rider would eventually be sent, however i may not necessarily be that rider, you may receive another" i said
"what do you mean" zordon said
"the mumeiken is the sword of nothingness, a blade that has been repeatedly used by evil, it grew tired of this and using it's power left it's universe coming to mine, where it lay dormant until it woke to aid me in a fight against an extremely powerful foe" i said as i said that a case fell from the sky
"well i take my previous statement back" i said as i picked up the case

"i have been further bonded to you through this power" fawkes told her rider
"what do you mean" blue asked
"i am in fact your rider, in every capacity" i said as i looked at the case
"why" red asked
"this is the advent deck of masked rider odin, an extremely powerful rider, though he has rarely fought for the side of good, if ever, i guess i am to redeem odin's name" i said
"why this one" pink asked
"i am phoenix themed, if you hadn't noticed, masked rider falchion uses the power of the legend of a phoenix, odin utilizes the power of a phoenix like monster, it keeps on theme, or that is my hypothesis anyway, it also keeps in tune with how i know how to fight i'll have to learn how to use falchion and odin's powers effectively but, i believe i can be of help to you lot, then again i am an accomplished wizard" i said
"welcome then, rider" zordon said i nodded
"now then if there is nothing else" i said as i walked over to a corner pulled a trunk from my robes and set it on the ground tapping it with my restored phoenix wand to unshrink it i then opened the trunk and climbed inside it it
"good day" i said as i walked down into the comfortable apartment inside the trunk where my elves had been waiting for me, i took off my robe and handed it to dobby as i sat down in my armchair, flicking my wand which caused the lid of the trunk to close
"well that just happened" yellow said as the rest just stood there soaking in all they had learned, including of their knew teammate
