turns out harry was correct as he found himself for the first time, on the losing side of a fight, and he was in his falchion armor to boot, he cursed himself for not using odin, who was he losing to, a green ranger, who had found their way into the command center, it was fortunate harry was even there because alpha would not stand a chance, and zordon is a head floating in a tube
"who in the bloody hell are you" i demanded, as i channeled my magic into the mumeiken feeling fawkes do the same to further boost the spells i was going to be casting
"your the magic swordsman, that has been giving my empress trouble, she warned me about you" the green ranger said
"your empress" i asked trying to keep the bastard talking, as zordon had gone silent, but harry knew not to get distracted enough to check why, he was already in a losing battle
"yes, empress rita of course, she is after all the future ruler of earth, i am but her loyal green ranger and general" he said
"it sounds like you got hit on the head by the club of troll, there is nothing royal about that bloody bitch other then being a royal pain in the behind" i snarked
"ENOUGH OF YOUR SLANDER OF THE EMPRESS" the green ranger roared in outrage as he leaped towards me, easily clearing the smoking console, as i barely managed to sidestep his flying punch, trying to send a full body bind at him, which hit, my satisfied smirk turned quickly into a frown as the ranger i was fighting started laughing
"you think this pathetic magic can harm me" as he easily broke the spell standing from the crouch he was in
"my empress has protected me using her magic, my shield being especially resilient" he said 'great an evil ranger resistant to magic, wonderful' i thought sarcastically
"goldar especially warned me of you and i got to say i am quite disappointed, goldar said you were a talented swordsman, but all i see is a pathetic weakling, any last words wizard" he asked
oh i am far from done" i said as i stood up mumeiken in hand, as i got an idea summoning a random piece of metal, casting a spell before throwing it at the ranger
"catch" i told him, and out of reflex he did just that before disappearing from the command center, via portkey
"thank the lords above" i said as my armor disengaged as i cast a ward around the command center with one real goal keeping the green ranger out, afterwards collapsing to the ground from exhaustion, both physical and magical
fortunately, alpha wasn't too terribly damaged mostly thanks to harry's timely intervention, having his house-elf apparate the robot safely into his house trunk, so when he returned to the command centers main room he was easily able to summon the rangers, and there were two things to notice, first zordon's head was no longer in his tube, second harry was laying on the ground entirely unconscious, and no matter what they did nothing could awaken him, this was because, this wasn't just dreamland, it was a vision, a prophesy was about to be told
"you know, when i made a pact with the morphin grid on, the super-sentai's behest, i was not expecting what had transpired" a voice said in the darkness
"who's there" i asked
"i am tokiwa sougo, kamen rider zi-o, and the king of time and all riders, i should say welcome to the very large family" sougo said as he revealed himself
"why are you here, why am i here" i asked
"a prophesy has formed" he said my eyes widened and i slumped down
"yes i assumed you'd understand what that means" sougo said
"i assume, i am involved" i asked
"yes, but this prophesy, speaks of something that has never happened before, and while battles will be fault in the completion of this prophesy, i believe you will like the outcome"
"can i ask what the prophesy says" i asked he acquiesced my request
dragons will clash a legend will rise unique and different from the rest one will lose to gain one will sacrifice to remain the legend will reveal the light
"that is the prophesy" sougo said
"why am i here, is it just for the prophesy" i asked
"do you know where the power rangers, come from, or more accurately where the morphin grid comes from" sougo asked
"i feel like your going to tell me" i said he smiled
"your learning, the morphin grid, derives from the super sentai, a team of five deriving from japan, there is in fact a team that uses powers identical to the mighty morphin rangers, the zyuranger, there are differences and their most definitely are similarities, like your current problem, they also had a ranger that was evil, they had to bring to the light, just like you will, the power the super sentai used slowly leaked into this dimension and a couple others until, the morphin grid was formed and created a consciousness, i had spoken to sentai and asked for a favor, to help you and your companion integrate more easily into this new world" sougo said
"companion" i asked
"a rider, almost always has at least one back-up, or secondary, you are no exception, someone from this world has been chosen to take on the mantle of rider" sougo said
"it's one of the rangers isn't it" i asked remembering the prophecy
"ah you noticed that did you, yes, it is ranger i will not say which one, i will say this, your power has been more of a trial run to see if you would abuse it, there are those in the riders who are a bit paranoid, so a test was required but one you passed with flying colors" sougo said
"i'm about to get dragon help aren't i" i asked
"you are quick, aren't you, you understood that part of the prophesy real fast, yes, you will be receiving 'dragon help' as you describe it, good luck, oh and i should mention prepare yourself, what is happening will change everything" sougo said as he disappeared
"finally he has gone, now we may speak" a deep voice said to reveal a large dragon
