You woke up surprisingly warm, pulling your pillow closer, nuzzling your face into it. Your eyes suddenly shot open as you realized your pillow was not only much more solid now then it was last night, but that it smelled like sleep and sandalwood which was definitely new.

You sat up, wide eyes looking down into the warm brown orbs of Sebastian. "Mornin' Darlin', rather snuggly aren't we this morning?"

Cheeks flaming as you flung yourself off the couch, tripping, your legs still wrapped up in your blanket. You hit the ground with a soft thud thankful you weren't too far from the ground and that the rug below you had some cushion to it.

"For Merlin's sake are you alright?!" Sebastian's face appeared over the side of the couch.

You could hear Ominis shuffle from somewhere across the room. "What happened?! Did she fall?!"

Embarrassment flared in your veins as you sat up, pushing your head between your knees. Trying to calm your racing heart. As much as you wanted to deny the fact you had been draped over Sebastian for Merlin knows how long, you couldn't deny that his calming sandalwood smell was all over you.

In the entire time you'd shared a space next to him on the couch last year, you'd never once been caught snuggling up to him. Why the hell did your unconscious brain decide to betray you now? You sat, rapidly sucking in air, trying to get your breathing under control. All you could hear was blood rushing in your ears accompanied by a faint ringing sound.

You feel arms gripping your shoulders gently, vaguely registering voices around you as you try to regulate your breathing. It had been quite a while since your last panic attack, only happening once at the beginning of the summer.

You feel a warmth slide down behind you, thin arms pull you back and wrap around your upper body, legs coming to sit on either side of you, pulling your chest back against a much firmer one and pulling your head from between your knees in the process.

You see Sebastian through watery lashes. He quickly wraps a hand around the back of your neck, something cold coming to lay across your skin, and wipes the tears from your eyes carefully.

Finally your breathing starts to return to normal. The ringing in your ears dies down and you hear Ominis behind you. "It's alright Darling, take some deep breaths."

You shakily suck in a deep breath, blinking away more tears. Sebastian's worried face turns to a small smile in front of you. "There's our girl, come on, take another one for me."

Your body shakes involuntarily as you suck in another breath, leaning your head back against Ominis' chest. Sebastian strokes your hair calmingly as you finally start to come out of it.

You continue taking deep breaths till your breathing gets back under control. You lean your head forward and look at Sebastian, a trace of worry still in his eyes. "I-I'm sor-ry..." You manage to choke out.

Sebastian pulls you from Ominis' arms into a hug, pulling the cold cloth from the back on your neck and discarding it at his side. "It's alright love, I didn't mean to set you off. You can cuddle up whenever you like, I only meant to tease you a bit. I'm sorry for upsetting you."

You shake your head, pulling away. "Not your fault. I was just half asleep, embarrassed you both were up already and aware I was cuddling you."

Ominis slides out from behind you, standing and walking to the table to pour you a glass of water. He shuffled back over, handing you the glass. You take it gratefully. "Thank you, I don't know how I deserve to have you both as friends, stopping my panic attacks and caring for me afterward..."
