Perched on the rooftop, I let out a sigh of exasperation, my eyes scanning the city skyline in front of me. The night was young, and we were on high alert, waiting for the Kraang's next move. But as minutes turned into hours, the anticipation gave way to boredom, gnawing at my patience.

Beside me, my four brothers mirrored my restlessness. Donnie tapped his fingers rhythmically against the edge of the building, his mind clearly preoccupied with thoughts of scientific breakthroughs. Mikey bounced on the balls of his feet, humming a tuneless melody under his breath. Raph, the embodiment of simmering energy, cracked his knuckles, eager for action. And Leo, our steadfast leader, maintained a calm exterior, though I could see the flicker of restlessness in his eyes.

I leaned back, propping myself against a ventilation unit, my gaze wandering across the city's illuminated streets. "Is it just me, or does time slow down when we're waiting for trouble to find us?" I mused, my voice laced with a hint of frustration.

Leo chuckled, his voice cutting through the stillness of the night. "Seems like it, Venus. But it's all part of the job. We have to stay vigilant, were ninjas and need to hide in the shadows."

I rolled my eyes kinda expecting that response from Leo, but all hope wasn't yet lost

I nodded in agreement, but a mischievous grin tugged at the corner of my lips. "Well, since we've got some time to kill, how about a game of rooftop tag? I bet I can still outrun all of you, especially you Donnie!" I said turning to my purple-masked brother who wore an irriatated expression on his face at my challenge.

Before he could respond though Leo being the killjoy he was interrupted, "What part of we must stay vigilant and hide in the shadows didn't you understand?"

"Uhh, I understood I just didn't care to listen."

Leo just glared at me before he and Donnie effectively ignored my presence. Huffing in annoyance I turn my gaze to see Raph resting against a building block and Mikey playing with his life.

My twin was currently poking Raph on the head but before Raph could grab his hand he would pull it away laughing as our brother half grunted in annoyance and anger. Yeah, my bro had a thing about playing with fire.

Standing cautiously in front of Raph I play a little game with myself, how long will it take Raphael Hamato to snap and attack his trouble-making little brother?

My twin suddenly let out a loud cry of pain when Raph roughly grabbed the young turtle's finger which I'm pretty sure I heard a crack but I could be mistaken. Snickering from my spot I watch as Raph glares furiously at the sheepish turtle.

"Guys when ninjas are on surveillance there supposed to be SILENT." Leo hissed towards us.

"Sorry Leo I'll scream quieter," Mikey whispered rubbing his sore finger. "I'll laugh quieter," I added lowering down my snickering.

It didn't take long for Mikey to do what he does best, irritating Raph. Like a moth attracted to a flame the young turtle reaches his finger slowly towards the emerald green turtle's head snickering as he heard Raph let out an inhuman growl.

In a swift motion, he expertly flipped Mikey over his shoulder, sending him hurtling straight toward me. Time seemed to slow down as I braced myself, but there was no escape. Mikey crashed into me, our bodies entangled in an awkward heap.

Struggling to regain my balance, I felt the weight of Mikey's shell pressing against my chest, making it difficult to breathe. Meanwhile, Raph seized the opportunity, pouncing on us, effectively trapping Mikey from making a quick getaway. Towering over both of us, Raph wore a triumphant grin.
