"And now, The Kid goes for the world record! He will attempt to jump three mutant turtles!"

"I can't believe he talked us into this," Raph growled from his crouched spot on the floor.

I found myself sharing the same wonderment as my gaze met Mikey's figure perched atop a hastily constructed ramp, skateboard clutched in his hand. There was an unspoken acknowledgment that things had shifted among all of us ever since the encounter with Bradford. Even Raphael, in his own unique manner, had exhibited a slightly softened demeanor towards Mikey.

I wasn't participating in such foolish actions, instead, I was on the couch playing with the newest addition to the family.

Aurora

Symbolically, the name Aurora represents new beginnings, hope, and the arrival of a new day.

In relation to the name Venus, both Aurora and Venus share connections to celestial bodies and mythology. Venus, named after the Roman goddess of love, beauty, and fertility, is often associated with femininity, grace, and allure.

Similarly, Aurora is linked to the concept of dawn, the time when the sky brightens, and the world awakens to a new day. So I thought naming her something similar to my name was only fitting since she dressed like me, or, eh, I guess I dressed like her since cats couldn't really change their fur color...

Anyways I watched as my four idiot brothers were about to make a horribly dumb decision. The lair was in a state of utter chaos, resembling a scene of a wild pizza party gone awry. Empty pizza boxes littered the floor, scattered haphazardly in every corner, while a few remaining boxes displayed remnants of their delicious contents-a medley of toppings and crusts waiting to be devoured. The aroma of freshly baked dough and melted cheese hung in the air, mingling with the scent of tangy tomato sauce.

The television, left unattended, blared in the background, casting a flickering glow across the disarray. Various skateboards, abandoned mid-session, lay strewn across the room, their wheels caked with dirt and grime from countless adventures. It seemed as if the lair had become a skate park of its own, with ramps and rails crafted from discarded crates and makeshift obstacles scattered in every available space.

Michelangelo's vibrant orange skateboard, adorned with colorful stickers and scuff marks from countless tricks, lay precariously against a half-opened pizza box. Donatello's technologically enhanced skateboard leaned against a wall, wires and gadgets protruding from its frame. Raphael's worn and battle-scarred board stood defiantly in a corner, a testament to his resilience and tenacity. Leonardo's sleek and polished skateboard, impeccably maintained, rested on a designated rack.

Now I wasn't much a clean freak myself but I also don't just leave my stuff hanging around the lair either. I liked to consider myself in a mix of both, I mean one day I could wake up and feel like a slob, but another day I could be like 'ew why is that left there' and I'll clean it up.

I have my days but my brothers were just pure animals when it came to cleaning up.

Turning my attention back the my brothers I turned just in time to see Mikey yelling, "BOOYAKASHA!" The orange-masked turtle sped down the ramp at full speed prepared to fulfill the most awesomest trick in the world.

"What is going on in here?!"

My eyes flew open seeing the raging form of Sensei entering the living room, my eyes widened further seeing my brothers leaped to their feet, forgetting about Mikey rolling down the ramp and heading straight for them.

"Sensei...!" Leo started, but Mikey, and his skateboard, crashed into them before anything else could be said. They all ended up in a puddle on top of each other with Mikey being set on the bottom.
