Chapter 8:Red like Roses

POV:Nobody

Jaune, Nora, Pyrrah, and Ren we're struggling against the deathstalker up the cliff as they preformed a rather well coordinated attack together. . . Jaune, and Pyrrah advanced fourth first The deathstalker brought back it's left pincer sending it fourth as Pyrrah brought up her shield defending herself from the impact, and attack quickly spinning underneath the Deathstalkers pincer swapping her spear into a short blade slashing up at the pincer, the deathstalker screeched it's left pincer retracted bringing it up right pincer to slam it down, it's impact was soon redirected away by Jaune's shield as well as this left the deathstalker's other arm open Pyrrah sprung up into the air bringing back her spear jabbing it onto the pincer forcing the deathstalker to screech once again scurrying back as Ren darted fourth taking out his dual pistols he fired rapidly at the death stalker, it's stinger coming up thrusting it down Ren sidestepped missing him by an inch before jamming the end of his blade onto the Stinger firing rapidly into it as the stinger was brought up Ren stuck onto the stinger still firing waves of bullets onto the stinger trying to dislodge it, the Deathstalker brought it's two pincers infront of it defending it from any strikes from Pyrrha, and Jaune as it took a more defensive position it was soon futile to do so as Nora fired multiple bombs to the Deathstalker in her grenade launcher form, forcing it's guard to bust open as that happened Pyrrah's spear whistled through the air sinking into the death stalker's eye, it screeched throwing Ren off the stinger as his back was about to make contact with the wall he was quickly caught by another person. . .a fifth man as he set Ren back with his team it revealed it was Y/n he stared at the death stalker noticing it's stinger is weakened he turned to Pyrrah now, who was stunned to see him here so fast before getting his signal she brought back her shield hurling it fourth to the stinger preforming a swift incision slicing off the deathstalkers stinger, as it fell crashing onto it's head as it was halfway stuck in it's skull I stare at this.

Jaune:"Nora Y/n, nail it!"

Y/n:"Understood!"

Nora:"Heads up!"

Nora leapt over Pyrrah as her shield was up, Nora landed on the shield before boosting off of it staying in the air gain force, Y/N dashes fourth as he sees it's pincers try to crush him he quickly slides underneath before getting on his feet spinning, to build some Rythm clenching his right fist tightly now retracting it back using his left hand to aim the blow, he fires one heavy strike below the deathstalker the impact sending it up in the air, as he retracts his fist once more almost a low growl of sort the muscles on his fist almost inflating as he preforms another uppercut seeming to carry more devastating energy as he did this Nora came barreling down spinning rapidly before bringing up her hammer crashing it into the stinger the collision of strength forced the Deathstalker in two with a massive eruption of impact, Nora leapt over making contact while Jaune spun through the crashing on the ground Ren walked over exhausted, and Pyrrah landed perfectly, Y/n skidded across the floor catching his breath now. . .

POV:Y/N

I pant out staring at them nodding at them now before hearing the nevermore screech it came swooping down underneath a bridge, I react swiftly sprinting towards the ledge leaping off as it was about to fly off I quickly catch it's tail struggling to keep a grip but then slowly holding it's feathers climbing up, and then soon climbing over it as i feel it's body tremor rapidly as I hear some explosions before it's body crashed onto the mountain, before landing I struggle falling face first onto it's back I grunt before standing up feeling it rumble, I quickly make my way over it's head, as it was about to fly off I cup both my hands together smashing it onto the nevermore head forcing it buckle it's head down as it let out a bellowing roar, I hear some weird beaming noise I turn to look what's happening underneath it. . .there was ice dust keeping it from flying off I stare down at it, seeming to be clinging it's tail in place as it tries to fly I roll on my back almost falling off of it, clinging onto it's jaw before hurling myself up once more seeing the makeshift slingshot I soon realize what the 4 girls are up to, I sigh using one hand to hold onto the Nevermore's head preparing for the blistering impact soon it made contact with it's neck pressing it's back against the wall I hear the fury coming from Ruby staring down as she uses her sniper rounds to boost her self fourth keeping the scythe around it's neck as she sprints up seeing multiple glyphs helping Ruby boost herself I quickly bring up my fist rapidly beating down on it's dome speeding up the process in slicing it's head off, I sigh standing up now seeming to be angered it's not going down yet,  I leap up into the air using one of Weisse's glyphs as support before bringing up my hand in the air feeling my rage build up as a orb with  crimson outlined formed in my palm, I shut my fist tightly engulfing my fist in a red flame before bringing it up now, letting gravity send me back to the nevermores head I soon let out a guttural yell.
