STEPH

┌──❀*̥˚───❀*̥˚─┐

After a long day of classes, I finally trotted into my dorm to find Cerys and Olivia sat at the kitchen island talking to each other. I waved a quick hello and began walking towards my room, placing my bags down on the floor and flopping face first into one of my many pillows out of pure exhaustion.

I laid there quietly, thinking about God knows what, my mind quickly falling to the Cultural Studies class project.

Oh yeah, I never got his number... In all honesty, I just wanted to get the project over and done with. I can AI the research.

I let out a deep sigh and whipped out my phone, trying to call Kitty — I hadn't seen her in what felt like forever. The phone rang a few times as I sat on my bed cross legged before it went to voicemail. 'Strange, I don't remember the last time her phone went to voicemail...' I thought to myself, springing out of bed and making my way to the kitchen to sit with Cerys and Olivia.

"Hey, how was your first day?" Olivia asked me with her large smile plastered on her face, the deep dimples in her cheek prominently appearing as both her and Cerys turned their heads slightly to look at me.

"Hmm, it was okay, how about you two?" I replied.

"Yeah, it was pretty good!" Cerys smiled as she opened the fridge to get out some milk.

"Yeah, same here! Why only okay for you though?" Olivia asked, sincerity flowing through her words.

"I don't know, I'm being dramatic. I got stuck with Min Ho for a Cultural Studies project..."

I plopped onto a chair and rested my head on the island counter, staring off into the distance. They both raised their eyebrows at me, indicating for me to elaborate.

"And that's a bad thing, why?" Olivia's eyes lit up.  "I mean if you two need help on the project, I'm always available. Always."

Both Cerys and I broke out into laughter, and Olivia seemed completely at ease.

"Plus, he kept calling me this stupid nickname, Airport girl." I mentally cringed, but my thought pattern was clearly translated on my face.

Cerys leaned forward. "Come on, I've heard him call people way worse. Airport Girl is practically endearing."

I rolled my eyes, smirking a little. "You're unbelievable. Anyways, I'm gonna go see my friend Kitty." I put my hands on the cold, marble countertops, twisting my chair around and standing up.

"Wait, Steph," Olivia began, a playful grin on her face. "Next time you see Min Ho, can you put in a good word for me?"

"A good word? I mean, I can try." I shrug at her and squeeze her hand gently as I began walking away. "Bye guys!"

With that, they waved me goodbye as I walked out the door.

knock knock knock

I knocked on the door for the second time and waited a little bit to see if anybody would open the door.

Still, no answer.

"Kitty!" The boredom began bubbling up in my system, causing me to lean on the door slightly and begin knocking a little rhythm as I hummed a tune under my breath, being cautious of passing people hearing me whilst simultaneously being blissfully unaware of the disturbance I was potentially causing to the girls on the other side of the door.
