The witch and wizard walk the endless hallways in the early morning, making there way to breakfast. Alanis feels tense after last night how it had escalated but then abruptly stopped.

Alanis's POV:
He holds my hands above my head, using his body weight to pin me down. His lips crash onto mine in a feverish manner that makes my heart jolt. He's ravaging my lips, like I've been starving him for too long and now he is finally getting his payback. He lets go of my swollen lips, moving to my neck. My mind is muddled as he sucks on my skin and I can't seem to keep my mind straight as it starts to stray to paths I swore I'd never stray to. Tom brings one of his hands down to my neck, grabbing it softly and squeezing lightly, completely throwing me off guard. His lips move back to my own and instead he kisses me deeply and passionately. Lucinius comes to my mind and I try to put myself in another place as if I had never picked up that book, I can't help but sink into that feeling as my heart aches.
But then Tom stops abruptly and pulls back, breathing heavily above me. I open my eyes to see his own staring intensely back. Dark brown iris's with red streaks gaze down at me with a guilt ridden expression. Wait, guilt??
He roughly lets go of my hands and neck and storms out the door, locking it closed behind him without a word.
I back away from the edge and crawl under the covers, hugging myself for comfort.
End of POV-

As Alanis was waking up she had felt another presence in the bed, and noticed that Tom had came back once she fallen asleep. Now she walks by his side adorned in a heavy black dress that was set out and Tom in his own matching black wizard suit. Alanis can tell that the events of last night are not bother Tom in the slightest.

Alanis lets out a cough, having remembered the plan she had thought up last night while unable to fall asleep. "Will the death eaters be eating breakfast with us," she asks, trying not to let herself seem too obvious.

"Just my closest death eaters," he says in a stern voice, still walking.

"... and where do they stay?" Her cheeks go red and she feels Toms gaze on her as she focuses on her black slippers.

"They stay here in the west wing of Malfoy manor, but they'll soon be moved to Hogwarts once we take it," Alanis is stunned for second, the reality of what the future holds for the Wizarding world hasn't really been on her mind, more of her future and how to leave Tom.

"When will that be?" She pries.

"Soon my love, you will be there by my side when the so called greatest wizard of his time falls," she doesn't ask anymore questions after that.

They arrive at the dark wooden double doors that Alanis had entered alone last night, but today she isn't alone. Alanis watches Tom easily open the doors in a dramatic manner and he strides forward. Alanis doesn't walk ahead immediately, not wanting to walk beside him. She sees the group of death eaters all seated around a long rectangular table. Tom is almost at his seat when Alanis finally moves, walking towards the only available seat, which just so happens to be the next seat closest to Tom. She notices all eyes are downcast as she walks but Tom is following her moves.
