The wolf and Blue

Blue Theerapanyakul POV :

🌙 A few days later, in the mountains 🌙

The young woman tried to calm her breathing and she stretched out her arm, her arrow against her cheek and the wind in her hair.
She had long black hair, which she didn't really understand: her father and her mother had light hair.
Besides, Blue didn't look like any of his parents, except maybe her blue eyes, more electric than those of her father, Leon Von Braun.

"Ah...ah...." a gasped breath behind her, made her sigh. ''..Aaargh....''

"Guf, if the beast hears us, we're both dead."

The little boy let out a frightened groan.
He was not valiant, nor brave and even less courageous, but he was really acting like some glue sticking to Blue's back.
Since birth, Blue had been afflicted by Guffy, to become his future bodyguard.
It was silly, she was much more resourceful than him!
She didn't need a bodyguard. Her cousins, Earth, Moon and Luna didn't had a bodyguard!

''We're super far from home!'' complained Guffy touching his stomach nervously. ''..and I'm hungry...Could we go back already ?''

Blue rolled her eyes.
She deftly jumped onto a rock, ripping off part of her blue dress.
She didn't care, she'd rather be a hunter than a princess.
Lady Vera made her wore a dress every days, that was so annoying.

''You can go back home, if you want, silly dog.'' growled Blue pulling out a notebook.

She began to draw the animal she saw.
A huge black and brown wolf that looked lost.
Maybe it was looking for his female?
Guf tripped over a twig and he cried out.

''Ahhhh!''

"Guffy hush!"

"B...Blue!"

''What ?''

''The...the beast!''

Guf hid his eyes with one hand and he held out his other finger.
The young woman immediately narrowed her gaze.
The animal was there.
As big as a bear and as tall as a horse.

''Shut up!'' immediately ordered Blue pinching her friend's shoulder.

Guffy had tears in his eyes and he started to fidget more and more.
As if the wolf could smell its fear, the animal sniffed the air.

''...Rrr...Rr...''

Blue hid behind a huge tree, she began to follow the animal with discretion, always ordering Guffy to be quiet.
She had a light step, sure of her and lively, Blue was born to live in the forest. She could follow easily the wolf...Unlike Guffy.

''Where is he going?'' whispered Guf while panicking.

''I don't know...We'll find out.'' murmured Blue.

''What if we get lost?!''

''Shut up !''

The wolf continued on his way, up to a sort of enormous barrier, the gates of a garden.
She suddenly heard the heartbreaking howl of another wolf, probably younger.

''What the hell !?!'' worried Guf who wanted to save himself at all costs. ''Another one !''

Blue lay down on the ground, in the tall grass.
She then saw a smaller wolf.
Also a male.
With a brown coat and a sad look.
Blue's heart shivered, as if suddenly she was filled with a strange melancholy.
It was strange. Blue felt deeply connected with this one. He had such a sad behaviour, everything about this beast looked defeated.
As if...He was letting himself dying.
He was very thin too, that made him looking really unhealthy.

''...Wooof...''

The bigger black wolf was licking the nose of the smaller one, it wanted to comfort him.
They probably were brothers.
A family.
Suddenly, Guffy patted Blue on the shoulder before frowning :

''....Dangerous?'' whispered Guf.

Blue frowned.

''Prison.'' replied the young woman simply.

''So dangerous!'' said Guffy again.

Blue wasn't so sure about that.
She looked up.
Behind the garden, there was a huge house.
Slowly, they went down the road, trying not to disturb more the wolves and Blue walked right to the house's door.

''Wait for me !'' cried Guf. ''What are you doing now ?''

''This place.'' growled Blue. ''It's...the DiAngelo family's one !''

''And so...?'' asked Guffy while holding his stomach. ''Can they give us some foods ?''

''Stop thinking with your stomach for once.'' barked Blue.

She was tired and tried to knock on the door, but suddenly she heard some voices.

''...Why are you here ?'' said a first voice.''

''You know why !'' growled a second.

''..Ah, you are no fun, Tankhun.''

''In fact, I am super fun, but you don't deserve my best behaviour! You stupid moron. Why did you take him ?''

''I don't understand.''

''Porchay. He was not yours to keep.''

''This wolf is...''

''It's my brother's mate and my niece's father. I am here to take him home.''

Blue looked behind her and Guffy seemed as lost as her.
Tankhun?
She knew him, he was a friend of her dad...Or something like that.
His brother?
Blue remembered that he had two : Anakinn and Kimhan.

''Let's leave..'' begged Guf. ''There are going to be mad at us if they found out that...''

''No.''

''No ?''

''Actually...We are going inside.''

Blue jumped on a windows and she hissed herself on the rooftop.
Here, she could see the whole garden.
Guffy tried to stop her, but he wasn't fast enough.
The young lady tried to spot the beast.

''What the hell ?! Please, Blue, go down right now !''

''No !''

''What ?!''

''I will free him !''

Now, she was sure of it.
This is what she had wanted all her life.
Being useful to the nature.
Blue jumped again in a tree and she could almost heard her heartbeat going crazy.

''Damn..What if it kill you ?!'' cried Guf.

''He won't !'' replied Blue.

And in fact, her heart knew.
She knew that the wolf would not hurt her.
Besides, Blue had another secret.
Who she was.
She was no Alpha, no Beta or Omega.
Blue was something called a Luna.
Not like her cousin's name.

A Luna was a female dominant.
And damn, she was.

Blue Theerapanyakul was the strongest Luna of this country.
