Shiro's POV

The soft breeze of the cool night blowing throw the tuff of hair that I like to call my bangs, as I looked at the stars that covered the night sky much like when Hunk covers his specialty donuts with powdered sugar. All scattered and not particularly placed. The rings of Altea slowly shifting with the rotation of the planet, occasional clouds smeared across the night sky. The moons large, and bright amount the dim lights of the city as the people of altea drifted into their own night, sleeping with families and loved ones. To think... just over 3 deca-phoebs ago.... Honerva almost destroyed this universe and countless others... if not for Allura.

"Hey." A low voice called from behind me. Turning around I locked eyes with Curtis, my husband. "Hey, I replied back and I walked from my spot on the balcony and pulled him into a hug. "I didn't hear you come in." He hummed and he held me for a few ticks before speaking. "You talk to Coran?" I nodded as I repeated how that talk went.

Coran had seemed... Lost? His mind was obviously elsewhere when I found him. He was just in front of the throne room, seeming to pass those doors, probably to meet up with me if he got the chance to talk to Veronica. "Coran!" I shouted to him, considering I had just turned the corner and was still way down the hall. He didn't hear me the first time, until we were almost twenty paces from each other. It was then he seemed to finally come back to planet Altea... Get it? It's the Earth reference of when you 'space out' or day dream... So deep in thought that you travel to space... So someone calls out to you to bring you 'Down to Earth'? But since we're not on Earth it would be 'Down to Altea'?

Nevermind.

I really am starting to sound like a Dad.... Even though I don't have kids... Unless you count the Paladins of Voltron... But Keith doesn't count. Cause, you know, he's like my little brother.

Anyway...

I finally got Coran's attention, from there I gave him an update on how things went and my perspective of the Coalition's last meeting. Which was about the Altean group that believe in Honerva and Lotor being good for the Universe. And how the Galran Resistance are piecing together something big. We can't seem to figure it out. The Altean Resistance has gonna radio silent... For now... Coran said we should be on guard. We don't know what they're planning but for all we know, they could've started to work together as both sides currently have the same goal. And that is to dismantle Voltron, and rip apart the Coalition and any sense of peace the universe has. He placed his hand on my shoulder as he said "That's all for now Shiro. It's getting late, and I'm sure you could use some rest from your long trip." I tried to resist... But he was right. "Good night Coran. I'll you tonight night for dinner." I had said, and with a pat on my back as he pulled me into a tight hug, we went our separate ways. From there, I set up the room I would be staying in with Curtis.

Soon as the door opened, a sweet smell flooded my nose... Something sweet like icing. And juniberries. I walked into the room a few paces and stopped. The hiss of the door closing behind me. Scanning the room like it's the first time, I took it all in. It was sleek and elegant, yet simple, not too bland. To my right was a large bed, perfect for two people, a couple more so. The sheets smooth, soft and a mixture of silk and cotton-like. The silver color stood out against the turquoise bedsheets and turquoise pillows that held a horizontal pattern of thin silver lines. Next to the bed, but on the wall, were two sort of lampshades with a bright blue flame in its little cup. One of either side. The castle's known bright blue lighting up the area around the bed. Looking across I could see a small area to store anything I brought. Sleep clothes, socks, underwear, etc. A place for everything as I unpacked my duffel bag. Everything folded neatly, courtesy of my husband. The only item hung in the large semi walk-in closet was my outfit for tomorrow night. And an extra uniform for when I leave and go back to work. Beneath those I placed my shoes, as to keep them out of the way.
