Sonic had been depressed since Amy rejected his apology. Sonic got frustrated due to the fact that he lost to Shadow again. He couldn't help but feel super angry. Though as if that wasn't bad enough, Knuckles went missing about two months earlier and he had not stop searching for him. It was depressing as hell. Amy as usual tried to hug attack him but he just pushed her away. He said coldly, "Stop clinging to me you bitch! Listen here Amy! I will never ever be your boyfriend! Not ever! I will never love you!" Amy felt heart ache and cried. Sonic turned around to apologize but Amy already left. Though sadly Amy was too angry at him to see he was truly sorry. Sonic talk to Tails about some advice to earn Amy's forgiveness. Knowing He didn't mean to hurt Amy's feelings, Tails said that he should make it up to her. That's what Sonic tried. But Amy was too blind by hatred to even say something. She always turns him away and also tells him to leave her be. Over time when Sonic tried to gain her forgiveness, Amy started falling for Shadow 'who was very sweet to her'. Sonic thought she was being threatened but instead, they were actually dating willingly. Sonics last attempt to earn Amy's forgiveness was a bust and that left him in depression for a long while. Amy kept showing her and Shadow off to the public. She got over Sonic but the blue hedgehog was heart broken. He was in real deep depression. Until one faithful day where another familiar looking echidna girl showed up.
