chapter 1- first meet

regulus pov-

it is my first year at hogwarts and Sirius has told me all about it over the summer. he had told me about his friends Remus, Peter and James, and how he hopes I get into Gryffindor. I'm not sure if I want to though, if I got into Gryffindor mother and father would be disappointed in me. I can remember their reactions to when we found of from Bella that Sirius was sorted into Gryffindor. "bring him home this instant!" I remember my mother shouting through the floo to the headmaster, Dumbldore. 

I've just finished packing my things for hogwarts in this dark green trunk with my initials 'r.a.b' engraved in silver on it. 

"Hey Reggie are you ready for Hogwarts??" I hear Sirius shout excitedly as he opens my door. he is wearing a Gryffindor scarf, its probably just to annoy mother.

I roll my eyes at him, "Yes Sirius, I'm ready to leave."

"good cmon let's get your stuff downstairs," he walks over and picks up my trunk, "Jeez Reggie, what are you taking in here, bricks?"

"no, it's my books, and your just weak Sirius."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say!" sirius laughs as he carries my stuff downstairs.

we get downstairs and then I hear my mother walk in, "regulus your here, are you ready to go?"

"Yes mother." I say quietly.

"Okay, good. come here," I walk over to her, "now hold my arm and hold onto your trunk, Regulus."

I do as she says and then with a crack we are at platform 9 3/4.

"now Regulus, I will see you at Christmas." I nodded at my mother and then she disappears for a second then I slightly jump as she appears again with Sirius. Sirius then walks and stands next to me, without another word my mother had dissaperated back home.

"Let's go Reggie, I'm going to introduce you to my friends!" Sirius says with way to much energy for this time in the morning.

"Sirius!!" I hear a boy shout, then Sirius turns and turns to me, "let's go that's Remus!" he practically skips towards the boy, Remus.

"Hey mate, is this your little brother?" Remus looks at me witha small smile.

"Yeah, Remus meet Regulus, Regulus meet Remus!"

I just nod at Remus, Remus nods back in an understanding way and laughs.

"we should probably get going and get to our carriage!" Sirius says cheerfully.

"the others are already their, so let's go." Remus says looking at Sirius.

I follow Remus and Sirius awkwardly to the carriage, then they stopped at one and opened the door.

James pov-

I looked up to see the door opening, then Remus and Sirius walked in. I stopped for a second as I saw this boy with dark curls and green eyes stood there nervously.

"Hey James and Peter, this is my brother, Regulus!"

oh shit. that's Regulus, Sirius' little brother. why did he have to look like, well pretty. 

stop James, I think to myself, that Sirius' brother, you can't think stuff like that.

regulus pov-

oh, is that James. he looked...
